Nice, little game for a few hours of distraction.

Press the buttons and watch as your stats improve and your kingdom expands! The game is simple, but it’s a pleasure to watch. The music is lovely too. I can definitely recommend it~

I hate being negative but I just can't recommend this game because it has almost no player agency underneath the beautiful presentation. There are way too many useless upgrades by the second half of the game and combat feels needlessly complicated even though it just boils down to "Buy more upgrades". Don't bother reading about Swordsmen and Knights and Tactic Upgrades or Bleeding. It matters not. Just buy the upgrades. The game has three full stops where you need to start over and buy the ascension upgrades but starting over means you have a lot of everything unlocked already and you can't see the effect of having these upgrades in place because you repeat almost nothing. Instead you have to wait a few minutes until you're at the point of your last ascension and then use the new upgrades to progress. This makes the long lasting effects feel not as impactful because you can't see how you're suddenly doing better because you're just able to progress further. It's good enough to have it on a second screen while watching something but it doesn't demand any real attention.

Enjoyable and charming. Worth the price. I would have been happy to grind at it for twice as long if I had anything else to achieve.
