✦ AI summary

mhas dungeon sweeper is a creative take on minesweeper that players consistently praise for its engaging mechanics, relaxing gameplay loop, and solid design, with many reporting dozens of hours of playtime in the demo alone. The main criticisms revolve around minor presentation issues like inconsistent art asset cohesion and the forced story mode before accessing classic mode, though these are described as minor details. Players feel this is absolutely worth buying at its low price point, with several explicitly recommending it as a must-have for anyone who enjoyed traditional minesweeper.

Nice little revisit of the minesweeper genre. Loved the demo and played 10 hours of it. It was really cool to understand how everything works, how enemies spawn, and all the little rules around the game to try to perfectly clear the level, and the release did not disappoint. I don't know what's on the roadmap or if anything is planned for the future, but I'd love to have more levels like the one with the Reaper, with maybe more different enemies and rules.

Great game! It's a lovely game with a new take on minesweeper. As an obsessive minesweeper fan, I had to try it out. I put around 8 hours into the demo alone (!!!) as it is a cool game to unwind for a bit. I would usually play a session or two in between work hours to chill for a bit. Critiques: - I would have loved for the art assets to be more cohesive among each other. The sprites are super cute but UI and other assets could have been picked with a better criteria. I prefer these assets more than any AI slop so I think it's the right choice for a solo dev. I'm very happy to see that the full version doesn't include any AI. - The initial adventure/descent is pretty cool! I was expecting it to be added. But adding the option to continue to the classic mode with the level and items from adventure could have made the experience feel more fulfilling. At the time I found the adventure mode quite easy, so I don't find it fun to replay it. - The time mode (candle) should be much shorter, it doesn't feel like a challenge. Maybe add difficulties to it, so that the player con choose a few options. Good points: - The game itself is fun and it has a few surprises in the middle of the game…

so short review : I've got the game on beta and did 90 hours on it. I was looking for a game like mine sweeper and this is exactly it. If you ever regret not having mine sweeper anymore on your pc, don't hesit and take the game : in classic mode, a game will be done around 30 min, the choices are more complex (but not so much so) than just having the number of mine around you, and very VERY rarely you may have to do random choices (I've done one or 2 over 90 hours of game). The only regret I may have is that you cannot select the size of the game, or that the classic may not be selected by default and that you have to finish the story mode to access it, but these are details. For less than 5€, this game is a must.

Super addicting. Started playing dragonsweeper on itch.io and when I saw this game on steam I had to get it

An amazing idea! It might looks like a bit rough but the mix between a dungeon crawler and the mine sweeper works very well. There a lot of mecanics to learn to improve your progression. For 3€, absolute banger.
