Atom Zombie Smasher

A bit too little choice in what mercenaries you bring and a bit too random but the gameplay loop is fairly satisfying and simple.

I really wanted to like this game based off all the reviews it has but its not fun man. Everything and i mean EVERYTHING moves, loads, turns, fires so slowly that the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ zombies out pace you, then even when things go to plan and you get lucky enough that your mercs fire where you want them to fire- one zombie survives and instantly touches and deletes 50+ people. Not to mention the sheer irritation that is the Chopper. You will rarely get it to max load because it randomly decided to just ♥♥♥♥ off mid loading people due to its short timer, then takes ages to return. When it does return, it takes the survivors too long to get to its new location and it only takes like 10 people away again. I really wanted to enjoy this but it feels like herding cats while only using snails

It's not the story that matters. It's the little dots on the screen that are important, just like life.

I never played the original, but picked this up on sale. It's an amazingly fun, addictive game with high replay value due to all the settings changes you can make. It can also get very tough, but the game gives you fun ways to deal with setbacks!
