About Truck-kun is Supporting Me from Another World?!

BUCKLE UP AND DRIVE FOR HER LIFE!

Carissa Ward was all set to start her new job as the VP of marketing--until YOU hit her with your truck and transported her consciousness to a world of fantasy and magic! Rather than accept her fate, gathering a party and going on a journey of growth and self-discovery, Carissa uses all her knowledge of anime tropes and Japanese RPGs to find a different path: Unrepentant vehicular manslaughter.

Pressed into the service of the newly-incarnated buff anime elf, you'll speed your magic delivery truck to complete objectives across two worlds, running over pedestrians, sending them to another world as Truck-kun, and helping Carissa power up a Galactic Gate with the stars you generate together. The Skeleton King waits on the other end of the great divide, and the only way Carissa is getting home is to take a Scroll of Resurrection from his weird, dead, bony hands.

Good luck!!!

FEATURES

  • Dodge cops, make deliveries, and smash through objects in the chaotic small town of Wenvale, USA!
  • Complete objectives across two worlds to power up a Galactic Gate with stars and unlock a subversive, heartwarming story rooted in our love for anime.
  • Run over pedestrians to turn them into monsters Carissa can slay for stars and XP. It's fine! Don't worry! Stop thinking about it!!
  • Energetic, ska-inspired soundtrack by award-winning composer David Mason (Dredge, Creepy Redneck Dinosaur Mansion 3).
  • A giant, screaming man whose meat you can legally drive through.

a game whose entertainment value will hinge almost entirely on how you feel about its sense of humor, Truck-kun is a solid way to spend three hours if you're craving something to fill the Crazy Taxi shaped hole in your heart.

Love the concept for the game. Having to support Carissa but running over is a lot of fun. I do wish there was more impact when helping Carissa. I would have liked her to have a health bar or offer different types of attacks that differentiate between a large group of enemies and a small group. Maybe running over items on the beach give her a mana potion for bigger spells. Because right now she is just on the bottom of the screen. I'm not worried about her dying or anything. Also I would like the dev's to tone down the wall collision. In a game where I have to be drive fast I don't like it when I hit a wall and all my momentum stops. This wouldn't be a problem if the truck it self didn't feel awful to drive. If the dev's ever decide to make a sequel I would like to see the above addressed. I still loved the game and wish the team all the best in the future.

Short but satisfying action game with the most bonkers premise I’ve seen in a while. The story is light but sweet, and it performs quite well on the Steam Deck.

Historia curtinha, mas uma gameplay fluida e divertida. Acho que vale numa promoção sim.

Fun, if not a bit short. I 100% it in about 6 hours, I like the game play loop i just wish there were a little more variations for the game. Highly recommend picking it up when its on sale.

Rolled credits after about 3 hours, and I really enjoyed the ride. Vehicles are hard to program into games, so there's plenty of jank in the truck handling but it generally feels good to play once you get the hang of it. The vibe is perfect (music and art were very Strange Scaffold in the best way), gameplay is fun, and there's just enough here to knock out quick if you're inclined to. Plus it's... Truck-kun... Like... C'mon.
