Ale & Tale Tavern

I honestly don’t know why some of the reviews are so negative on this game it has so much content in it and it’s even voiced for god sake! If you can get it on a sale as well you really shouldn’t be complaining it’s a great game especially to play with friends

I have everything available to me unlocked but the RNG in the dungeon is killing me i cannot get an uncommon fish. I don't want to resort to save scumming to collect this one item but not being able to find items of different rarity in the overworld really slows down progression and makes me not want to play the game much more.

So this game is typically not my style, but i knew my GF likes them so i gave it a shot. I will say, this game was so much fun. We 100% in about 22 hours. Is wholesome and the progression make you feel great. I wish there was more too it after maxing your Tavern and beating the cave boss and scarecrow boss. I hope the add more to this game to or maybe a sequel.

A surprisingly fun "friendslop" game. It has some good variety to keep things interesting for a while, but does get a little stale after about a dozen hours

The dialogue is funny and entertaining, and I really enjoyed the tavern sections. Learning new recipes, gathering ingredients, and managing the customers were all really fun. The combat, however, isn’t very good and honestly feels a bit weak. The other mechanics are much more enjoyable. I also really would like having a map, as I got lost quite often while playing. It would have been great if we could manage the workers more directly, with more types of workers as well. For example, farmers, cleaners for the sleeping area, cooks, and so on. The game also starts to feel repetitive quite quickly. Despite that, I still had a lot of fun with the dialogue and the tavern management, which were definitely my favorite parts.
