Defend your alien homeworld from invading humans in this fast-paced tower defense game where enemy troops actively damage and destroy your towers, forcing you to react and adapt in real time. Build and upgrade from eight unique tower types with special abilities like repair, berserk mode, and explosive sacrifices, then customize your strategy through a dynamic tech tree across 24 challenging campaign levels.
Anomaly Defenders is a fast-paced Tower Defense game where attacking human troops can damage and destroy your defenses. You have to react and counterattack enemies on the battlefield at all times. Each time you start a campaign, the unique tech-tree technologies can be tailored to your needs. Killing humans is easier due to 8 upgradable towers and special functions: repair your towers, make them go berserk, sacrifice them in explosions that are harmful to nasty humans, and use other tricks. This is the final battle against the humans. For the Hive, Commander!

It's a small TD game that does its job if you have low expectations, its only issues are lack of depth (you can only manage 6-7 towers) and of course the last levels get quite unbalanced and will challenge your micro-managing to the point you will mostly find it frustrating, a negative trait lot TD games still have. I much appreciated the technology tree and the fact the game literally challenges you to finish each level at each difficulty to unlock all technologies.
As a tower defense fan, I found Anomaly enjoyable at first, but it simply can't compete with the many better options available today. The content doesn't justify the price, and it lacks the depth and polish of modern tower defense games. Not recommended.
This is a good "active" tower defence. you cannot just put your tower and sit there. There is some micromanagement happening to heal your tower, put some skills on them etc. Good selection of tower, map are well thought. Good game. I had a good time.
