I've bought the Early Access version some time ago and got to watch how the game developed and grew, and it has been an absolute delight! If you're looking for a game that let's you build your own witch hut, do some gardening, bother or help the common people and learn about Old Magic, then this game might be for you :) It let's you take the role of a travelling witch learning the craft from a legendary master. There is no hurry, you can take your time to explore, make uncommon friends and some foes, too. Magic is simple and "earthy", quests are not complicated but add to the cosy, creepy atmosphere. Most things are accessed via circular menu, so controller accessible. The building takes a bit time to master, placing objects can be a trial of patience, but the game rewards you with lots and lots of decorative objects to customise your hut, if you want to. A huge thing I celebrate is the trigger warning system! There are quests and places that touch potentially triggering topics. When you come near an area with such a quest, you get a trigger warning plus info if this quest is optional. These warnings can be toggled on and off.

I got this game way back when it first released, and it's been consistently improving since then. These days it's very playable, the bugs are minor and infrequent, and gameplay itself has expanded nicely. I'd buy the game as-is, but I'm looking forward to what's next too

A wholesome mix of becoming a witch, witching and building your cottage. The game is looking beautiful and runs without any issues for me, except some rare minor texture glitches.

The Atmosphere and music is so cinematic! And all the handpainted and handmade assets are soo beautiful. Looking forward to the full release!

REKA is a beautiful witch-life adventure inspired by Slavic folklore, where you explore forests, craft items, and build your own magical chicken-legged house. Its atmosphere is outstanding, and the house customization system is easily the game's biggest highlight. Performance is excellent too, running at 4K Ultra settings around 100 FPS, with 1% lows near 90 FPS on high-end hardware. Pros: Gorgeous visuals, relaxing exploration, unique folklore setting, excellent base building. Cons: Early Access limitations, some rough edges. Score: 8.5/10 A charming and cosy witch adventure with a unique setting and great performance.
