What Steam players say
Recent verbatim reviews from Steam — separate from playze.io community reviews below.
Players appreciate The Quivering's charming retro adventure design, quirky British humor, bizarre puzzles, and memorable characters that make it an entertaining nostalgic experience. However, many find the game frustratingly difficult due to cheap deaths, limited save functionality, and excessive backtracking that can make progression tedious without workarounds, creating a challenging balance between enjoyable 90s charm and outdated design frustrations.

A failed experiment opens a portal that allows monsters and dark creatures to spread chaos throughout the town of Warty Hollow and beyond. Vampires, zombies, demons, skeletons, and other bizarre creatures quickly become part of a growing catastrophe, forcing Spud into a strange journey where survival depends on solving problems and unraveling inc…3 found this helpful
the best game i have ever played1 found this helpful
Literally the father of all games. Had this game not been released, we wouldn't be in the gaming industry.
Starts ok, but then turns out very bad. Very frustrating how easily you can die and have limited saves in a point n click adventure.
