Battle Riders

[h2]An incredible solo-developer project that combines dynamic racing with solid combat. The game has a great flow but suffers from a few technical flaws. [/h2] ✔️ Lots of game modes for a solo-developed project ✔️ Very enjoyable, well-designed, and smooth tracks ✔️ Huge variety of different and interesting weapons ❌ AI drivers behave weirdly and unpredictably on the track ❌ No visual markers for completed time trials, barrels, or mines ❌ Missing Steam Cloud save support ❌ Two achievements are nearly impossible, including a pointless, time-wasting grind (destroy 1000 enemies) Game End in (19 Hours)

6/10 Was pleasantly surprised by this one, well worth the dollar. Has a mid 2000s Hot Wheels vibe to it. The driving is snappy, no drifting mechanic is present. There is decent weapon variety, although some of the weapons feel much more powerful than others. Only three maps are available, so some level of repetitiveness sets in after a while. It took me 15 hours to acquire all the achievements. A couple of the time trial events gave me some trouble, but beyond that I found it to be pretty easy. The final 1k wrecks achievement added about 1.5 hours to gametime itself.

I enjoy this game its exciting polished and fun arcade goodness i look forward to a sequel

A very basic racing game but a really fun and cheap one that has become one of my go to "idk what I want to play rn" games, easy recommend
