Zombie Buster VR

One of the devs or someone involved with the game gave me a free copy of this game on reddit and I have to say that I'm very pleasently surprised. This game deserves a lot more attention than it has received. It is a wave based shooter, but one with several environments and modes that add a lot of replay value. For $15 it's definitely one of the best wave shooters you can grab for VR.

I played this game in a VR arcade and its the very game that made me want to buy a VR system. Great experience and great game!

Is this game going to be compatible with Index in the future? The reason of this question is that I tried playing it last night and there were a few problems with the game. One of them was that the "servers were under inspection" and the controllers were switched being the opposite hands. I really want to enjoy the game but I can't even reload due to trying to put my hands on my hips but it doesn't work, I don't know if it's because of the controllers being switched around or there is a bug in the game to where it doesn't detect my hips. If there is going to be an update or fix in the game I can't wait to see what you guys come up with.

Really good game, really challenges you. Great wave shooter. It’s takes me time for it to work properly: it doesn’t always start correctly so I have to start several times. It often starts without sound, so I have to start several times and get lucky. I use the Samsung Odyssey Plus. I hope they fix this problem as it’s my favourite game for now as it’s a really good stress releaver after a tough day at work. I recommend this games once the problems are resolved.

7.2 out of 10 Why the hate on wave shooters? I don't really know. Really the question is whether this is a good game or not. And the answer is it's a good solid VR title among the festering collection of garbage VR games polluting Steam. You are planted, but there are different levels to complete by surviving the countdown timer. Moving onto the next level and map is different and indeed the enemy mix it up with walking, shooting, crawling and flying foes. Each level will have a different mix of the enemy types with some levels favouring a particular enemy. This all adds quite a bit of variety to the game and changes in strategy required per level. The game includes limited powerup weapons and bullet time which are essentials when thing get busy. The graphics, animation, and sounds are exellent, gun mechanics feel sollid. The overall production of this title is of a high standard.
