About Golden Fall

Golden Fall is a cave crawling RPG using time based tactical battles.
The Golden Fall is of our hero who looks for a quick coin and fall into the cave many adventurers have ventured into but never came out of.
Once our hero falls, the only way out is to delve deeper.

The game contains 8 hand tailored levels, no procedural levels mean creative level design instead of generic AI levels.
You will level up, find equipment, gain skills, spells and yes... find gold.

Unique monsters and challenges awaiting. There are no orcs, vampires or your typical fantasy monsters. The monsters are unique to this game and world.

Play with the arrow keys and mouse.

It's a fun little game for in-between. Good level design with a few puzzles. Combat and exploration is fast enough that it never gets boring.

This is such a delightful little game! It reminded me of playing old tile-based games as a kid! The charming characters, monsters, and art style is so cute. + Tile-based roguelike game + Charming graphics and characters + Challenging! + Different weapons and magic abilities - Challenging (Will take you a few tries to beat) - No real save systems - true to traditional roguelike games. - Lack of character customisation or inventory checking. I would definitely recommend this game if you want a short and charming roguelike adventure!

Great game. I hate the idea of losing progress in many of these rogue-ish games, but in this one you just restart the current dungeon if you die. There are 8 dungeons and most don't typically take any more than 20ish minutes. With that said, I died a lot, but I never felt overly frustrated. The gameplay feels like shareware I would have played on the ol' Macintosh in the early 90s, and I love it for that. I had a really good time with this one, and I'm looking forward to getting into the sequel.
