O.C.D. - On Completeness & Dissonance

tried this just out of its curious (and kinda sly) name. found a good, truly enjoyable and fresh take at puzzling my mind. game may look shallow from screens, but there's already plenty of well crafted levels and support for controller. if puzzles are your thing, try it right away: asking price is just a token of appreciation for Flat Voxel. a dev i'd start to follow, if i were you...

OCD presents itself very cleanly as a well-made interpretation of the classic sliding-tiles puzzle, the likes of which have remained popular with casual audiences and more hardcore fans alike since the earliest days of Flash animation games. The name becomes ever-more fitting as the levels advance, the challenge rapidly becoming something which requires genuine forethought to successfully overcome; the basic control scheme of using each arrow key to rotate the board ninety degrees left or right at a time masks the many dynamic aspects the game which will be introduced very quickly. At time of release, OCD features sixty of these unique tileset levels, (and another sixty reportedly on the way) each requiring an approach that will be graded and assessed with metrics of moves-used and time-taken, guaranteeing that the real obsessive-completionist puzzlers will have something to do for quite some time. Between the sheer amount of long-lasting content present, the lovely pastel aesthetic, and full Steamworks Achievement integration, On Completeness and Dissonance is certainly worth its humble asking price. Recommended.

O.C.D. - On Completeness & Dissonance is a mobile app that's been dumped on Steam as a cash grab by lazy mobile devs. It's a basic puzzle game where you have three controls, rotate the grid left, right, or stop. The objective is to rotate the grid so the little crate things fall into the gaps in the grid. Fill in all the gaps and you can go on to the next level if you hate yourself. The nicest thing I can say about this game is that it's not an asset flip, and it doesn't feature godawful retro pixel "art". This kind of game is incredibly complex and advanced for mobile peasants, and they consider the graphics here to be state of the art, but it really does not meet any of the basic qualities anyone would expect from a PC game. Resolution is locked, there's no windowed mode (which you do want very rarely, like if the developer made the resolution locked so the crap mobile app they dumped on Steam fills your monitor and the letters are a mile high). Controls are also locked, there's just 2D Adobe Flash tier "art"... the quality here is abysmal. Once more we see greedy mobile devs trying to scam PC gamers. They want $1 USD for this free mobile app! Mobile devs must learn PC …

It's an interesting rotating puzzle game. You have to fit the tiles in the marked area in the exact orientation, among a few other challenges. It's a decent game with 60 or so levels.
