Yuzuges just aren't for me I guess (this was recommended by a VN server on Discord). I am a story-first, plot-focused reader. Yuzusoft-style moeges seems to drop plot in favor of cute girls (having lots of sex) and wish fulfillment for the reader. Four of these routes were weird collections of SoL sequences and a lot of subplots that often did not connect to each other; the rest was bad h-scenes. The biggest offenders for me were Wakana's and Tsumugi's routes. [spoiler] MC's forced sexual advances on Wakana left a bad taste in my mouth, and Tsumugi's whole reason for becoming a witch was so silly that I couldn't take her story seriously.[/spoiler] The only route honestly worth talking about is Nene's. There was actually a bit of a story there, but it was only a minor part of the route. The writer briefly introduced some decent writing and story twists only to quickly resolve them and get back to the usual sex scene + moege SoL formula after that. And, if I'm being honest, other VNs like [spoiler] Steins; Gate and Muv Luv worked the time travel/memory loss issue much better[/spoiler]. One of the best moege VNs. Close to being perfect. Great common route. You'll find a heroine up to your liking in the game for sure. Nene's route is usually no.1 pick but after playing through all the routes I don't think you need worry about 'correct' order of playing. Waifu top 3 tierlist: 1. Meguru 2. Nene 3. Sanoba witch is, without a doubt, one of the best products that yuzusoft has managed to release. Of course it is still plagued by the classic yuzu law that after the first h-scene the plot must take a break until the last hour of the route where the plot reappears, as well as the fact that compelling and complex characters just aren't this studio's forte. Still, this novel has a lot of moments which make me think that, if yuzusoft actually tried and made a "serious" product, it would no doubt be on the level of something like grisaia or Katawa. My route rankings are as follows: Nene: 10/10 (Probably the best route i've read in a yuzunovel) Meguru: 10/10 (My personal favourite. It also features my favourite heroine from the novel) Tsumugi: 8/10 Touko: 8.5/10 Kariya: 8/10 (For a side route it was very solid)
