Black Swan

One of the most nostalgic games I've played, sooo much about it reminds me of childhood. It literally felt like watching an old Barbie movie, and even the UI is designed to be like buttons of some girly electronic toy, additionally the ballet theme - I love it aesthetically so much. The art, music and atmosphere are all stunningly magical and alone made it worth playing for me! The story (or rather its presentation) is quite cringe, however exactly in that older cartoon way which only adds to immersiveness imo. But it would've been nice if the plot got further explored, I actually found it interesting. Gameplay-wise this is a typical Hidden Object game with puzzle elements; it does include some ridiculous solutions (♥♥♥♥♥ refused to open a basic curtain, so I had to go on a full side-mission all over the map to find some """curtain-opening-tool""" which I didn't even know existed?? Be ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ serious.) but that's part of the genre I'm afraid. Therefore I'm grateful for the generous hint and puzzle skip functions, because I tend to get exhausted from such gameplay. Navigation of the item collection can be weird sometimes however, for example certain items only become interactable…

This game was so fun. I wasn't expecting to suddenly be invested but it really scratched all the itches I had for a new point and click game. There were maybe 3 times where the hint saved my butt and the fact that you can just wait to skip some of the puzzles it nice too.

black swan is a game

Game breaking bug that doesn't let you continue past a certain point, where you're supposed to 'release the girl locked under the dome.' Terrible developer, this is the 2nd game of theirs that I've had a game breaking bug. Luckily only paid like 99 cents on sale but even then it was too much for this garbage, DO NOT buy any of this developer's games cause they'll never be fixed and you'll just waste your money.

It's not awful. I didn't run into the save corruption issues others had, since I played it all in one session, but I still didn't overly enjoy it. I had some issues with object hitboxes in some of the HOG scenes, and had to finish one using the match-3 mode because the game would not register my clicks. I even double-checked I was hitting the right item using the hint button, although considering the way the hint button betrayed me later in the game who knows. In the later stages of the game the hint button would start indicating areas I could not interact with in anyway, leaving me worried I was about to be softlocked. I made it to the end regardless, but I'm not sure it was worth it in hindsight. The logic is frequently weird in terms of what you can use where. A lot of the time you're looking for something long or something sharp, and you will most likely have something long and/or sharp in your inventory, but the specific long and/or sharp object you need will be behind another puzzle. I found the sequence puzzles after the HOG scenes somewhat irritating. The order in which you're allowed to pick up and use things is extremely rigid, often for no clear reason. Someti…

Game crashed over and over and would not display inventory. Using Windows10 laptop Acer Aspire.
