What Steam players say
Recent verbatim reviews from Steam — separate from playze.io community reviews below.
Project: Snowblind is a fun early 2000s action game with varied weapons and augmentation abilities that can serve as light entertainment, though players note significant frustration with enemy visibility issues, forced auto-aim that fights player input, lack of checkpoints, and outdated graphics that widescreen patches don't fully address. Most reviewers consider it worth trying if you enjoy retro FPS games and can tolerate its technical quirks, but some feel even at a deep discount it fails to overcome its design problems.
Super Duper shooting game!1 found this helpful
ideal light entertainment
good
cheesy action movie game, didnt record my hours because it HARDLY WORKS but it took like 5 hrs nice time killer
Even on sale for .89 this game isn't worth it. Here are the list of things that drove me nuts: - Enemies legit blend into the surroundings while simultaneously looking like your allies - An un-toggleable auto-aim makes it feels that the game is fighting you each time you fire - Long action (i.e., reload, activate augmentations, etc.) animations - An annoying commander constantly barking orders at you - No checkpoints only save stations 1, 2 and 5 were the worst with 3 and 4 being tolerable if only the other problems didn't exist. On a good note, the game surprisingly never crashed on me. And I installed a patch that made it widescreen. If you want to get a budget 2000's game that you never played back in the day, then I recommend you try out Red Faction. Mind you it's not completely jank-free, but it has excellent mod support and some good moments like vehicle combat worth checking out.
A fun little game from the 2000s, it could be have been Dues ex 2 instead of what we actually got. has many weapons to choose from with different augmentation abilites and even huge range of nades. your character is the generic GI joe die hard for cause typa guy. the game has alot of options , you can even sneak though the sneaking ability is just not fully implemented but hey whos gonna be alive to tell you where here right? the game is short but its a fun experience.Do note that the graphics are very outdate for modern standards, even the wide screen patch doesnt work correctly and cause weired effects and the hud stays the same size. defo try if you love early 20s fps.
