SiN Episodes: Emergence

Bought this game on disc in 2026 and could STILL redeem the included code plus it came with SiN gold! That alone is worth a positive review but it helps it's also a real fun game! Since ritual is dead (RIP) hopefully nightdive can come back to this series, I want more! Give us Episode 2!!!

I don't know if this game was made on a low-budget, i did not know anything about this game beforehand, but i can say for certain that the only legacy this game left behind is boob physics and memorable sexy female characters. Nowadays there are many free hl2 source mods that are better than this "game". No clear ending, almost no plot, no interesting locations, horrible unresponsive shooting mechanics and no clear style (HL2 released 2 years prior, Deus Ex 5 years). Whole game you just fight cyberpunkish goons and in one chapter a couple of aliens. If you are looking for a hl2 mod you can give this game a try, because it's dirt cheap on sales, but otherwise i would not know why can anyone play this now.

I bought this second-hand a long time ago, right when steam was starting. Didn't know I couldn't activate it without buying it again. Heh. Anyway, these long years later, I finished the first game, and decided to play the failed sequel. Wow, this game is garbage. Every minute is excruciating. I simply can't bear to play long enough to get past the prologue. Do yourself a favor, and just walk away. Garbage.

Pretty decent game, the amount of machinegun npcs on the last 2 levels are ridiculous though (which is due to their dynamic difficulty system) Shame we'll never get that episode 2.

Good old game. Play thru every so often.

The game is a pretty solid game that should've gotten the sequels it planned to have. The combat is solid, the story and voice acting is good and it would've been nice to see the rest of the story unfold. Get it on sale if you can.
