Unfortunately this game was made no longer available as of 2023 due to the absolute ♥♥♥♥ show that was the Friday the 13th legal battle between Victor Miller and Sean S. Cunningham, but still feels fair to review it nonetheless. Killer Puzzle is a fun little game where you play as Jason in a fun little top down puzzle (see it's in the name) gameplay loop, where your job is to kill a set number of victims before the "Final Victim" shows up. However, as the levels progress you'll encounter more complex levels including enemies that can stop you or environmental hazards like holes or water. Thankfully though, if you have some issues figuring out a level, you can click the head of Pamela Voorhees, Jason's mother up in the top left and she can give you a hint, outright tell you how to finish that particular level or if need be, you can straight up skip it instead. While a part of me regrets not picking up the mega bundle with all the DLC, the base game contains 100 levels spread across 8 various locations, 10 Jason variants (You have classic by default, 7 are tied to the missions and two are tied to the side modes) and a pretty hefty amount of weapons, ranging from logical ones like t…

I don't like this game, does it mean its bad? Not really. It's an average puzzle game and it was free before getting delisted because of the whole Friday The 13th lawsuit charade which pulled not only this game but the beloved Friday The 13th The Game with itself, Also I honestly don't know what the target audience for this game is, seriously. It's not really for kids, teens and young adults would find it rather boring, and I feel like the only full grown adults who would play are content creators, or the fans of the franchise just for the sake of game's name. Anyway, if you get 2 hours of playtime you can get a pretty cool background called Bloodbath in points shop. I have the game open in the background for this purpose as I'm writing this. To remind you of my original point, the game is alright, personally really boring for me, I'd still give it a barely positive review, ugh... I wish mixed existed, many things are not black and white enough to be given straight up positive or negative.

Having a blast with this game surprisingly. I stopped playing it years ago and saw this in my library and thought, 'why, not.' and just playing it to *kill* time (get it? Ok, I'll stop). Now I'm just achievement hunting this game for some reason now. When I thought of buying the rest of the episodes, I just realized that they don't have it on Steam anymore. Boy, am I glad having this game in library even more now. But I am a bit disappointed with myself for not buying the DLCs when it was still up (frankly I wasn't in the killer mood that time), now I won't be able to get the rest of the DLC episodes anymore. Just found out it got put down due to legal reasons, but such a shame since it's such a good game. I'm rooting for you devs!
