Boomerang Battles

Short roguelike centered around fighting enemies in tight spaces, while mastering the movement style of your boomerang to efficiently deal damage. You need to learn to read enemy patterns and how to dodge them using your dash, but as each room has different obstacles, you also need to think on your feet! The real highlight of the game are the boss battles, that are often based on basic enemy types so you can harness the skills you've developed fighting them, while also having fun twist that keep you on your toes. It isn't systems-heavy, with the main variation coming from different boomerang patterns, while other items only change basic stats. If you're craving an action-oriented, simple yet effective roguelike, this is one to keep an eye on.

I've always wanted to be a mysterious figure shrouded in darkness and wielding boomerangs. So if you're like me, and if you like to punch cute little angry blobs, and cute big angry blobs, and purple bats and whatnot, jump on this. With such a low price tag too it makes for a cool fun time. Also don't expect the game to hold your hand and don't let the cutesy graphics deceive you: this is *hard* at times and will require several restarts.

Really enjoyed my time so far - the game is well split into bite sized sections for you to play & master, thoroughly recommend to anyone who is gripped by the screenshots. Gameplay is addictive, feels rewarding and encourages you to gradually learn the mechanics of the game The graphics are really well done, cute and fun In the time I've played, I've not experienced any game-breaking bugs or annoyances. Nice pace of action, cool boomerang attacking patterns that make for interesting fighting scenarios, big bosses and lots of fun and exploration! With 100 dungeon rooms to explore and a variety of boomerangs with different flight patterns, you are bound to have fun! Cute artwork, responsive controls, great game performance, nice soundtrack, clever attacking patterns from both you and the enemies, fun and interesting bosses! If you die, you'll start all over again and you'll want to! Each run will be different due to the items and power-ups. Play around with the different boomerangs and find your favorite!
