Let me set the record straight. This game is back under development (as a hobby), and may not be complete, this game is still fun for sandbox, and is more so an investment to support the developer. This game is still fun in its current state, and you are supporting an indie developer, so there are really no negatives.

Not worth it (at least not in its current state) ★☆☆☆☆ I bought Mall Craze hoping for a fun and addictive tycoon-style experience, but unfortunately, it turned out to be incredibly underwhelming and rushed. After just 30 minutes of gameplay, I had already unlocked every available shop, started making a ton of money, and realized there was very little else to do. That’s when it hit me there's just no depth here. The core idea had potential: build your own mall, manage shops, and grow your empire. But Mall Craze feels more like a proof of concept than a finished game. There are only a handful of shops to build, and once you’ve placed them all, the game pretty much plays itself. You keep raking in money passively, and there’s barely any challenge or meaningful progression. It lacks goals, mechanics, or upgrades to keep players engaged beyond the first half hour. Worse, the game feels like it was rushed out the door to start making money without offering enough actual gameplay. There's little polish, no real strategy, and the lack of content makes it feel more like an early early early- demo than a early access game. Even some basic features you'd expect in a tycoon game—like custom…

Game reportedly not abandoned (March 2026) This game was promising but it suddenly stopped in January 2025, it is a shame if it has come to an end because as said it was promising, it looked good, it ran good but the game is pretty bare bones at the moment. Hold off buying and wait to see if there are a steady amount of updates.

Not great, not terrible. Game is on very early stage. So far game lacks many features that you would expect. No toilets, no delivery, no working parking system, people just walk to your store and roads are just a decoration. There are about 5 main stores, 3 stopping isles and 2 vending machines. Within 1 hour your will build all possible stores. You can customise every surface and every object which is nice and you can add more "character" to your mall. Overall game is far from finished product. If you have a "mall fever" then you can buy it and use as very basic but kinda pretty mall "painter" because economy is so basic that cash will never be an issue.
