Short but very cute game ^w^

game does not let me progress after i beat the firstboss, other than that its amazing

A short but sweet turn-based RPG. If you want a deep, serious story look elsewhere. But if you want a fun, silly time wrapped in a classic RPG package, you've come to the right place. The battle system is simple but fun. There were a few minor bugs I noticed, but nothing game breaking or even all that annoying. A few QoL suggestions: - An exit game button upon finishing the story. - A load saved game button, alongside the 'load previous quicksave' option - The ability to pass/defend on a turn (specifically with monsters that reflect a type of damage)

I had a lot of fun with this game. It's cutesy and relaxing -- nothing groundbreaking, but good enough. I'm a teensy bit hesitant to recommend at full price, but on sale I'm happy to recommend. You run around fighting or befriending monsters and talking to townsfolk. The dialogue is cute and quirky, while the story is nothing exceedingly groundbreaking but kept me interested throughout the ~4.5 hours of content (5 with 100% achievements). Minor bugs, but things like the quicksave prevented me from ever getting too mad about them because I could easily reload.

Love the game, But i'm facing a difficulty with Huckfruit's in Butterworth Heights. I saw a gameplay of BattleCakes and it showed the player being able to enter Huckfruit's. I realized i wasn't able to access the building. It might have been a earlier version. My next problem is with the theater building. I managed to find one out of the 3 people for the casting quest. The director wanted me to find "A lumberjack from Nougat Hollow". I ended up sitting at my desk for at least half an hour just trying to find the lumberjack.

I updated my review, I have faced couple of bugs, but developers respond and fixed them very fast. I really appreciate this. Very nice game, colorful, beautiful cakes, a lot of nice details in environment. It will be fun to play both for kids and adults. Funny dialogue and quests and all about cake world. There are cats and you can pet them! like them very much. You can change your appearance and put on different toppings, so charming. Fights were easy for me, but I liked that there are 2 ways of fight you can make a battle of befriend.
