About Book of Korvald

Book of Korvald tells the saga of a Norse scribe, and his alliance with an eldritch entity named "Qhroth'un".

History does not tell us that Norse clans had scribes of their own. Their folklore is said to have been preserved through oral traditions exclusively, but this is not the truth. Many written sagas were damaging to the reputation of royal families and expository to the church. So these writings, along with their authors, were aggressively purged from existence. Korvald was one such scribe.Korvald's is not a tale of heroism and justice, but of deceit and suffering provoked by powerful religious empires and unseen cosmic forces. His story begins as so many are ended. Family slain and taken from his now destroyed village, Korvald is branded as a heretic and seemingly condemned to death. The true purpose of his capture and torment are part of a much bigger and far more sinister agenda. In his darkest hour, Korvald is approached by Qhroth'un and an agreement is made that will change everything...- Over 50 different female characters complete with sexual encounters. All raw, hot and fully animated.Maps / Environments / Areas:
- Each chapter takes place across an entire country, spanning over 30 areas. Starting in Denmark near the city of Ribe, drawing inspiration from the conversion to Christianity that took place around the 9th century in Scandinavia.

Weapons:
- 200+ different weapons to find or buy from various shops. Axes, Swords, Maces, Whips, Spears, Flails, Daggers, Shields, and Books (yes books).

Artifacts:
- 30+ different artifacts and special off-hand weapons to equip. You could raise the dead Templar knights as zombie minions, inflict plagues on nearby enemies, and even cause certain NPCs (and even some enemies) to strip naked (because... why not?).

Runes:
- Korvald will discover the true meaning and origin of runes and runestones. Utilizing his unique insight into this powerful language, he will gain the ability to harness many destructive and helpful forces. Unleash flaming cyclones, lightning storms, arctic blizzards, healing waters and even summon eldritch creatures to aid you in combat.

Even More To Behold
-A talent tree comprised of 15 different talents that you can customize
-Over 30 unique boss battles
-Minigames (fishing, farming, ale brewing, drinking contests, arena battles)
-A repeatable roguelike dungeon system
-Unlockable galleries for repeat viewing of cinematics and sex scenes
-Fully voiced characters

Please ignore my time in the game as I played a lot of this offline so my time is not accurate. For more adult game recommendations, feel free to check out my Curator page! :
Adult Compendium
Book of Korvald is one of those adult games you kind of see come out of nowhere and really shock you with how good it actually is. We are the titular Korvald as we traverse through this 2D action RPG where you fight through 9th-century Scandinavia as a scribe-turned-berserker powered by a cosmic parasite entity. Pretty interesting starting point. The art style is genuinely distinctive and it may throw some people away from it at first (it did even for me) It has this illustrated, almost stiff picture-book quality to it that looks like they were ripped out of a flip up book. As a result, the animations look a little stiff, no question, but once it clicks, it actually adds to the game's strange charm rather than detracting from it. Outside of the adult content, you have a meaty game behind it with a lot of unique weapons, magic, and more. It FEELS like an "adult" RPG (pun intended). Layer in rune magic, a talent tree, 30+…

Another perfect example of why I love indie games. It's so refreshing to play something that's clearly pretty rough around the edges, but does not shy away from just being exactly what it wants to be. There is great power in simply foregoing what is "acceptable" or "marketable" and instead going whole ham on self-indulgence. You can't get that from AAA games. It's something you can only experience in the indie world. As games go, this is a cool metroidvania with elements of beat-em-up set in Norse mythology with a hint of eldritch horror. As a human infused with otherworldly powers and urges, you'll spend a lot of time fighting and f**king your way through hordes of enemies and bosses, and collecting otherworldly babes for your ever-growing tavern. There's a lot to see and do, and dozens of fun companions to unlock, so even though you can finish the game pretty quickly (my first run at a casual pace was about 10 hours), you could easily spend twice that just poking around for secrets. In terms of gameplay, the controls are a bit iffy at times (not bad, just noticeable), and I definitely got softlock-stuck at least once, but I see these more as quirks than flaws. And even then…

There are not many games that I ever write a review on but this one makes the cut for me for sure! I have had a awsome time playing this game. It really balances the p♡♡♡ game elements well with a good story. Its not just rammed down your throat non-stop. It actually has a good story, good elements, awsome artwork ( H and regular) and best of all. Its really funny in just the right way. It doesn't try to hard to make you laugh, it just does. With out of the blue snappy one liners or remarks. This game got me to put the game down I was laughing so hard at a off the wall joke I wasn't expecting. This is the kinda game I search for. The kind with a killer story, graphics. Gameplay and the perfect amount of b♡♡bs and s*x scenes to keep your attention without feeling like you gotta play it hidden in a dark room. 10/10 recommend! Also for the record im playing on a steam deck and it looks great!

Mini games like fishing and bear drinking contest CONS 1. The navigation map is confusing , there is no player icon or Book marks to lead you to your quest and objectives , the DEV admitted that's its weakest part of the game . To navigate properly use world Map and mini map which have the question mark or exclamation mark, if lost seek Discord of the Dev or go to community discussion for help, especially the Iron Wall breaker you must beat bosses to reach Sister Superior Mary at the Order Of Holy Crucible get the iron Breaker s…
