✦ AI summary

Voice of Cards: The Isle Dragon Roars is a creative turn-based RPG with a unique card-based presentation and strong soundtrack that players find charming and atmospheric, particularly fans of Yoko Taro's style. The main criticisms are that combat becomes repetitive and overly easy outside of the final boss, the game is quite short, and player choices feel inconsequential, though the artistic concept generally makes up for these mechanical shortcomings. Most players recommend it to those seeking a fresh take on JRPGs and turn-based combat, particularly when discounted.

Good game. It's a very experimental JRPG. The game itself has a very creative style (everything is cards - characters, equipments, npc's, items, skills, etc. - and the world is a tabletop). The story is decent. Bosses are easy (The only real difficult boss is the last one because he heals himself, everything else is mid or easy). The soundtrack is good also. The game is too short thou.

This is such a unique and genuine rpg experience so far. I say experience because if you play the demo then transition to the full game all kinds of expectations are met and simultaneously subverted. In usual Yoko Taro fashion not even background characters are spared from the grim undertones of what makes gives a world a beating heart.

It's fine. I appreciate the presentation. Mechanics are simple and serviceable. Nothing ground breaking or particularly interesting, but also not bad. Story is ok too. Choices don't seem to often matter, and new game+ seems like a waste on a game with such a low level cap, but it's still just fine.

Pros: Creative concept and great music. Cons: Combat can become repetitive. Conclusion: The whole concept of playing a turned base RPG through cards is very creative. The music score was great and I found myself sitting there just listening to it. Combat is random and can get repetitive since you have limited actions you can do on your turn. The game is recommended if you like turn base RPGs and want a fresh way to play.
