Factorization

Early Access. Not ready for the big time, the UI looks like it hasn't been playtested except by the devs themselves? Steam Overlay does not work. Prepare to battle the interface, or wait until it's more mature. I asked for a refund.

Seems cool but doesn't appear to be playable, I couldn't see much (couldn't find any zoom function). I thought the trailer was just zoomed out to show the scope of the factory, but this does not appear to be the case. All of the graphics are incredibly low res, upscaling probably wouldn't hurt. The UI is rendered tiny for some reason, and I'm only on 1080p, a lot of stuff is illegible. The only exception to this is the right click context menu, that works. Researched some stuff and attempted to build a factory, the pause/play button appears to be glitched. Hovering the mouse over any icons in the top left results in rapid flickering to the desktop and back. Seems more like a prototype or proof of concept than an actual EA game, might end up alright with a few years of development.

This is sadly a hard no. I reviewed it right upon release and mostly complained about small basic quality of life things like zooming in and out and laying down conveyors by dragging instead of clicking each tile. There was an update that added a lot of that stuff so I gave it another go! I played for another 6 hours! no bueno The workers completely ruin the look and flow of the game. They also blatantly glitch out. In my 6 hours I had to restart I think 4 or 5 times due to the workers just completely stopping. It always happened when I would add a few more workers or upgrade a few of them. I'd restart the game, change nothing and magically they would go back to work. Even when the workers do their jobs it's just annoying to have to manage that. If there were an interface for worker upgrades or something maybe but there is no such thing. so you have to click on each one to upgrade them. I don't know WHAT is going on with the games calculations but something is off! I had a really nice iron frame set up going. All the machines were at worst 94% efficient but most of them were 100% the whole time. I calculated how much ore to make each frame and how much money I should be making. …

OK, this is awesome, it took me a bit, but Awesome I am finally making some money now, (well going back up now ) :-) better than I thought and I know it will get better and better!!!

I like the idea of the game, but it's full of glitches and the UI is cumbersome to use. For a while I could live with it, but then after certain time, the game would crash over and over. After starting a new game, same thing happened. I really would like to see an update that addresses all these problems, but until then I leave it be, and asked my money back.

The workers are pretty intrusive along side the factory design. They shouldve bn shrunk down proportionally to the factory (perhaps remove them altogether) so they wouldn't be in the way often, making me have to command them to move. However, the game DOES touch upon the logistical factory automation genre well enough. I prefer the basic ui factory games like this over the first person shooter/crafter automation games. This game deserves more credit than its given.
