Generally, I'll start a review by detailing the story. In this case, that is both an easy and impossible task. It's easy because the premise is fairly straight-forward: You play as an amnesiac girl trying to escape a department store infested with monsters. But it's impossible because, . . . well, nothing is ever said clearly. Very early on you learn that you were captured by a doctor who, presumably, turned you into a killing machine. But how much of what you're seeing is real? How much is made up in her head, a figurative interpretation of reality? This also isn't helped by the, frankly, poor translations from Korean to English. I've heard some say that the English voices were AI; I don't know if that's true. The voices *seem* to emote like they're real actors, but between the poor translation and the non-existent localization of the script, I wouldn't be surprised if the actors really didn't know what they were supposed to be saying or emoting so they just did a bunch of bad line readings with no direction. There's no way to change the voices to their original Korean, and I think being able to do so would've helped. The gameplay, however, is still fun. It's a roguelike, so I wo…

a lot of people are labeling this as " we have Stellar Blade at home". and they are not exactly wrong.. its a hack and slash with a cute asian female protag. and the jiggle physics are on full display... but thats about all it shares with SB. its a rogue-like. not a CAG. the combat is more stiff or choppy rather then the fluid combat of SB. just you basic "hit, hit , hit..... heavy hit" kind of combat, no combo chaining or anything fancy like that.. but, there are skilled attacks that you pick up along the route, these attack can get pretty flashy and helps to make the game more enjoyable. each skilled attack uses its own cool-down timer. you can dash/dodge attacks, perfect timing opens a window for a counter attack. there is no guard/parry the story is probably the game weakest area... the translations are too literal , like word for word, its not re-phrased in a way that works for english. the voice acting could be better as well... ISSUES as of this review august 2026, skilled attack animation previews are broken. in game music is broken. i dont think this game has any optimizations at all. poor translation / voice acting. IF the devs can fix the issues i listed above…

This game is NOT even close to Stellar Blade as it's not even similar in gameplay. This game is literally just Dark Souls as it puts your skills to the test. If you're someone looking for a challenge after beating a lot of the Dark Souls game than this game is for you. Don't let the comments from others fool you because the gameplay is not like Stellar Blade, but Dark Souls gameplay. I went in expecting Stellar Blade gameplay style and got wrecked. This game is literally similar to Dark Souls.
