Absolutely enjoyed this BFG game. Everything is better, the graphics are crystal clear. They were generous with cutscenes and character dialog. And I really hope the developers take note here: I LOVE THAT IT'S GROUNDED IN *REALITY!* None of that mystic time travel to a foreign land crap. And it's great that you can click on a character who already spoke and they respond, even if it's just with one line, it's better than them standing there lethargic and all dazed looking. The traditional HOPs were overhauled with creative ways to interact with and find the objects so they weren't boring. There was an actual story. Lots of scenes and items and 90% of the time the objects all made sense. The puzzles were pretty good, nothing too crazy and they even had easy or hard settings. The base game is pretty long too. I hope they stay on track to make more games like this and even better. Great way to spend a cozy weekend! Now go get your coffee, soupy and blankie!!

Criminal Archives: City on Fire Collector’s Edition is a story-driven hidden-object adventure that combines detective work, puzzle solving, and a sinister crime mystery within an atmospheric urban setting. Developed and published by Do Games Limited, the game follows a respected crime reporter who becomes involved in a dangerous investigation surrounding a mysterious criminal known as the Plague Doctor. A string of murders and deliberate fires has created fear throughout San Francisco, while the authorities struggle to uncover the person responsible. What begins as another potentially important story for the protagonist soon develops into a much larger investigation involving revenge, corruption, secrets, and a distorted interpretation of justice. The Plague Doctor serves as the central force behind the mystery. Rather than committing crimes purely for destruction, this masked figure appears convinced that his actions have a legitimate purpose. His attacks raise questions about punishment and personal vengeance, giving the investigation more substance than a straightforward hunt for an anonymous killer. The protagonist works alongside Constable Melinda Watson while following clues…

Criminal Archives: City on Fire Collector's Edition was a really fun mystery adventure. I liked the crime-investigation theme and the sense that I was actually putting clues together to figure out what was happening. The artwork is well done, and there’s a good mixture of hidden-object sections, puzzles, and exploration. The story kept me interested enough to finish it, though. Good choice if you like mystery games that you can pick up and play without too much effort. Enjoy :)

If you are new to hidden objects games, then it's a good place to start. But if you have done more than 10, then this is far too simple. It's not very challenging. It's fun if you're looking for a relaxing game though.
