RE-TAPED

Fun little game. Has a nice puzzle mechanic that really shines ones you fully figure out how it works. May be a bit hard until you do. The game does not actually teach you that you can also use space to jump, which I think makes it easier to play. Z = record, X = play, C = use, Space = jump, left/right = move. Most of the time, I quickly press Z, C, Z to simply recording me pressing a button. Then anywhere I am in the level, X can be used to press that button. No need to press record, walk up to the button, wait a bit, press C, walk a bit and stop recording. The game is very much inspired by portal. If you are great at portal 2 and played many community maps, then you'll find a few puzzles that are basically recreations of portal 2 puzzles, and this is not a bad thing. They're good puzzles, and you're basically replaying them with a new mechanic. The beginning puzzles are very easy, but it definitely gets harder. The very last level is quite a lot longer than any previous level, so when you reach that level, consider that you may need at least 30 minutes for just that level. RE-TAPED is a really cool, good-looking and polished game. The recording mechanic is really nicely done and is a great feature that makes the gameplay feel really new and makes RE-TAPED stand out from others. I really like the aesthetics of the game and the music/sounds are really nice. The game is perfect for those who liked games like Fireboy and Watergirl and is a great puzzle game. Overall, RE-TAPED is insanely well made and is a fun game for those looking for puzzle games

well designed game with only one or two puzzles that I think I didn't do the exactly intended way. starts really easy and gets fairly tricky by the end. Overall, incredible game

Game is fun and itches the same scratch of many other nostalgic puzzle platformers and flash games like Portal and Fire Boy and Water Girl. Highly recommend for a good few hours of fun and challenge, and more if you try to find every collectible.

very cool game

The puzzles are great, not too difficult but also not too easy. I have not completed the game as I'm writing this review but the latest secret collectable I collected had me stumped for a little. So If you think the main game is too easy, just get every collectable. Epic game 10/10. I recommend a controller because those keyboard controls are HARSH.
