SiNiSistar Lite Version

Art is ok, probably the best part, but gameplay is very simple, stiff feeling. There are some major collision issues on some fights like the iron maiden one, and it's overall extremely short. Less than an hour to beat. Also left kinda unfinished, apparently this isn't the whole game, you need to go to an external sight and buy a patch to unlock the full game... So that just leaves you feeling ♥♥♥♥♥♥ when you hit the ending and try to google what you're missing or what else there is to do. So sure, it's $5, but for one hour, and an empty end, most other ok games are better value for money I'd say. And the part it just kinda feels like you got ripped off at the end, don't recomend buying. Frankly makes me feel like I shouldn't touch anything from DLSite on steam now. So don't think I'll bother looking at Sinistar 2 now since who knows... might buy that here and just find it's missing it's ending or content as well...

Brilliant game even without the H- content, A tad short but there is post game content that unlocks and I see myself coming back to this one also picked the sequel up on GOG and its amazing.

[u][b]THOUGHTS[/b][/u] Amazing pixel art graphics with a Gothic Horror theme that genuinely looks inspired. Unfortunately the gameplay falls a bit flat, and the game is fairly short, although I can't fault it for that being a $5 game these days. A lot of the level design felt pretty cut and dry with not much else to carry it other than the artistic vision. It's a pretty typical side scrolling platformer and there's not much else to say about it in that regard. It's notable for having an 18+ patch which has some pretty detailed ero-guro themes if you're into that short of thing. It's definitely unique in that regard, I'll give it that, but otherwise it's nothing too special. I felt that some of the enemies were a bit too easy to predict, and then some other times they felt impossible to fight without completely cheesing the game. It puts the game in a weird unbalanced state that just feels unsatisfying to play. When it does work, though, It makes you wish there was more to the game itself since it's so basic. It almost feels like the developer really didn't know what they wanted to do with what they had made and just wanted to create a nice piece of art. For what it is and where…

Phenomenal pixel art, and the soundtrack nails 16-bit [i]Castlevania[/i] perfectly, but outside the immaculately grotesque aesthetics, the actual gameplay is underwhelminng: combat that is incredibly limited and monsters that do little to surprise, the only real challenge memorizing the occasional boss pattern and that god awful dripping acid segment in one of the bonus levels. Thankfully it's not terribly long, ergo [i]SiNiSistar[/i] never really overstays its welcome, making for a decent, albeit lurid jaunt. Don't forget the patch on DLSite, assuming you're not bothered by ero guro, at any rate; chances are if you're already here, you aren't.

Rather short but nicely done simple game. There is no explicit story, instead you are thrown into the stages where our protagonist nun must endure the dangers of that dark world. I finished all stages on normal, not sure if there is more content apart from that. Pros: - Nice art style. Game looks pretty good. - Well made H scenes. There are plenty of them but one warning, some scenes have gore. - Difficulty. Game is not difficult, which is a plus for this game. I could focus on the artwork, scenes instead of trying to figure out some ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. Cons: - Steam release. What is released on steam is not a full game. You have to buy the rest of the game on a different site. Horrible practice, even worse than downloading patches for free on a developer site. - Short. I wish there could be some more content. If you like games where heroine is quite in "difficult" spot then this game is for you. There is SiNiSistar 2 on steam which I intend to play it too. Too bad that first game is butchered on steam.
