Camelot 2: The Holy Grail

An alright and pretty standard hidden object game. Works without any issues on Linux with Proton (8.0-4).

This game is incredibly silly at times and I had a soft lock at the very beginning, but all in all I can recommend it. Reminds me of the later "Grim Tales" games.

An enjoyable hidden object game with a strong sense of adventure. Fans will undoubtedly rank it among the top games in the category, despite the fact that you still have to play through the standard HOG structure. HOGs typically offer little in terms of interesting story and use famous characters from myths and folklore. This particular one is about King Arthur and his quest for the Holy Grail. Despite being the second game in the series, previous knowledge is not required. The gameplay is what counts. Since this tried-and-true formula has been around for a while, the game won't try to change what remains successful. You must once more get around through highly detailed scenes that are filled with items. Some can be picked up and used when necessary, while others are simply there to provide more substance to the scene. There are no illogical solutions, which frequently occur in adventure games, meaning everything makes sense. This game also has the handy function that prevents interaction with a scene after you've done everything. It's great that conventional HOG scenes where you tick stuff off a list are relatively rare. IF you Really love HO games, consider this a thumbs up. For me, I'm more old school HOG. I ran into a bug(?) twice were I spent time trying to move forward on using my light and freeze power and was denied. Hint system said I had no options. It wasnt until I completely exited the game and restarted the game I could use those powers to move forward. Having to exit the game twice to move forward makes me speculate that they band-aided the save game rather than figure out what trigger was failing,

havent played a point and click puzzle game in so long. and have to say i didnt hate this. it was entertaining. pretty decent 5 to 7 hour game. its rather easy though i admit. as soon as you unlock one clue you often instantly unlock another in a chain reaction of success. also first...UwU
