Mistwinter Bay

[h2] An Impressively fleshed out text based RPG [/h2] Despite looking like a high school students first project[spoiler] Adventure Quest [/spoiler]this game delivers where it counts the most. It would benefit more from a lower price so waiting for a sale is advised. [b] + [/b]Well written characters and there's alot of them [b] + [/b]In depth lore for each country and race [b] + [/b]Original fantasy world with some (new to me) elements [b] + [/b]Realistic and fun political system [b] - [/b]City management is great in the early game, but too easy to hit post scarcity mid/late game [b] - [/b]UI is dull [b] - [/b]Music is great but not enough variety so it's repetitive Really comes down to the fantastic writing and large cast of characters. I would highly recommend it if you enjoy text adventure games or political sims and want something to burn less than 20 hours.

Exellent fantasy-political rpg simulation. You have to rule a town and prepare it over the course of five years for independence. The main focus of the game is a combination of resource-managment and personal relaitonship between characters with you having to choose how to use both to solve problems. The game is fantasy, wihle some parts are realistic, others are much more high than low fantasy, but overall its a great story. (with some clichés her and their, but never to much) Extremly well done, even more impressiv is that it was made by just two people. Has a great replay value, as there are a lot of events that are randomised at the start of the turn, so even reloading will not give you the same event as before. Around 15-50 Hours per playthrough, depending on how well you do. Price is absolutly justified.

good game

Honestly this game is great! I wish Steam had recommended it to me sooner. First off, this is a mostly visual novel game with some strategy involved. If you're looking for a good VN with a slight twist then you'll probably really like this game. One of my favorite things about this game is the worldbuilding. They made a very interesting world but it doesn't feel like it's all jammed down your throat at the beginning. Some games love early game info dumps but this isn't one of them. As you play through the game you learn more and more about the world. I'm on my second playthrough and there are still new things I'm learning. The game also has an encyclopedia if you ever want to learn more. The characters in this game are also great. When I first heard that there was over 30 romanceable characters I was worried that each character would get barely any screen time. Luckily they did a good job giving each character enough screen time to show off all of their charms. Also it's impossible to see all the characters in one playthrough. This game's music legitimately gave me a headache

Absolutely delightful game. I enjoyed every single second of my playthrough and I look forward to doing many more just to see the outcomes. Thank you so much for making this game!
