From little that I played, there are just too many game-breaking glitches, such as puzzle softlocks, corrupted save files, falling through the map, collisions just randomly refusing to work, bullets hitting invisible walls, and all kinds of other technical issues. It's only somewhat playable for the first 60 minutes, but after that it seems the code just melts like cheese in the microwave. To be fair, despite the cheap look of the game I think the dev is trying to make something interesting, and if the game was perfectly polished it could be a guilty pleasure, but I can't even finish the first chapter, there are just too many issues. Developed and published by eniscoskun, ALEON's Nightmare 2 is an independent first-person psychological horror game that builds upon the eerie concepts introduced in the original title while presenting a fresh standalone story. Players once again step into the role of Aleon, who awakens inside an unfamiliar nightmare with no memory of how she arrived there. Every location feels disconnected from reality, creating an unsettling atmosphere where nothing seems trustworthy. Rather than focusing on fast-paced action, the game encourages players to unravel the mystery behind this disturbing world by exploring abandoned environments, uncovering hidden clues, and slowly piecing together the truth behind Aleon's terrifying predicament. The game's greatest strength is its emphasis on exploration and environmental storytelling. Every area, from dark forests and abandoned castles to underground dungeons and forgotten kingdoms, contains pieces of the larger narrative waiting to be discovered. Notes, environmental details, and subtle interactions gradually reveal the history of the nightmare and the forces controlling it. The story unfolds naturally through investigation instead of lengthy cuts…
