About SIM SPORTS RAID

✦ AI summary

SIM SPORTS RAID is a rally-raid and navigation simulator that delivers realistic physics, vehicle management, and co-driver guidance across dynamic weather conditions and secret stages. It combines single-player rally campaigns with multiplayer competitive modes including versus racing against real player replays and tournament brackets supporting up to 256 competitors.

* NOTE: A CONTROLLER OR STEERING WHEEL IS REQUIRED TO PLAY THIS GAME *SIM SPORTS RAID is a racing simulator (simracing) focused on RALLY-RAID and NAVIGATION that aims to provide users with a realistic experience, both in terms of physics and competition. Take care of your vehicle, make repairs, ask for help while you listen to the indications of your co-driver both in open stages and SECRET STAGES and without previous training. And if what you want is competition against rivals in multiplayer format, we also offer you our CHALLENGE version so you can unleash your adrenaline in fast and competitive events. In championships or in a personal way. As an additional complement, we also offer, through our App, management tools so that organizers, communities, brands, groups of friends, leisure centers, etc., can design their personalized proposals.

SIM SPORTS RAID - RALLY RAID AND NAVIGATION

SIM SPORTS RAID allows you to compete, in a very realistic way, in Rally-Raid and Navigation events. Feel the competition and the orientation as a real pilot, with the help of your co-driver, the road map and the assistance.WEAR AND TEAR, BREAKDOWNS AND AIDSIn order to be successful in these modalities, it is essential that you take care of your vehicle. The most important thing is to finish the stages with as little damage as possible, without penalties and without repair penalties. Keep an eye on your shock absorbers, treat your tires well and avoid those objects that damage them; do not force the engine and keep an eye on the temperature of your radiator. If you get lost, you can also ask for help from your GPS and if you overturn or enter areas that you cannot get out of by your own means, you can ask for a hand. Of course, with its cost in time.WEATHERIn the free training mode, you can apply the meteorology you want, within those that are offered as the game progresses. For the design of events, the organizers can create a personalized weather evolution that will be the same for all participants. Each terrain, each texture, has a different behavior in both dry and wet conditions, so you will notice the change in the physics as the weather evolves.TELEMETRY AND REPLAYSThe information of the official events is collected on our servers. This information serves as a copy of the users' performances and as a control of their participation and available to the organization. PUBLIC AND OFFICIAL COMPETITIONSFrom SIM SPORTS we propose events so that you can compete without worrying about anything else. We also provide tools so that communities, brands, groups of friends, teams, leisure centers, etc., can create their proposals in a simple way.The official events consist of stages that are only used in that kind of events, so they cannot be trained in a repetitive way. In this way, the participants' strengths are equalized.Public events are made up of stages that are free to use. They can be trained much more and will serve you not only to compete but also to train you thoroughly.CREATE YOUR OWN CHAMPIONSHIPSLicensed users can create their own events using the stages and vehicles available to them. With the administration and management tools, it is possible to inform licensees of these proposals in a simple way, guaranteeing maximum diffusion. In addition, we can customize the advertising of the events and even of the information pages.During the “early access” phase of SIM SPORTS RAID, we will limit the number of organizers who can create their own events in order to measure interest and size the structure accordingly. ADMINISTRATION AND MANAGEMENTWe know that there are mainly two types of players in these disciplines: “gamers” and “simracers”. For the latter we offer tools with which you will be able to publish the rules of your events, control the starting times, evaluate the competition without the need of additional stewards and many more utilities that we will be incorporating.

SIM SPORTS CHALLENGE - MULTIPLAYER CHALLENGES

This mode offers players the possibility of facing each other in “one on one” duels through circuits all over the world. You can face each other in many different ways, depending on your intention:VERSUS MODEWith this system you will face the replays of drivers from all over the world. It's like an AI, but with the big difference that those lines, those timings, that driving style was made by a real player. A possible rival. You can even face your own replays, which will serve as training.QUICK MODEA way to face any user in a very simple and fast way. You only have to choose a circuit, a vehicle and? that's it! All you have to do is wait for an opponent to click on your proposal and in 30 seconds you will be facing each other face to face. It couldn't be easier.CHAMPIONSHIP MODEThrough this competition mode, authorized users will be able to create events of up to 256 players in “one-on-one” duels with “tennis-style” squares. There are even consolation duels so that everyone can compete in the same number of races. And we'll leave it all to you on our website. Call, registration, draw, scheduling, results, next duels... everything you need to offer a fast and exciting competition to your community, friends, teams, clients, etc.All these tools and utilities will grow based on the acceptance of our proposal.

Competition, excitement and adventure are at your hands!

✦ AI summary

SIM SPORTS RAID is a solid off-road rally simulation with genuinely good physics and driving feel, particularly excelling in desert navigation stages, but it's held back by a confusing and unintuitive user interface, placeholder audio quality, and some balance issues that need refinement. Players appreciate the committed developer support and the game's optimization, though many note it requires patience given its early access state. Most reviewers suggest it's worth trying at a low price point for off-road driving enthusiasts, despite its rough edges.

This feels quite good on my fanatec wheel after tweaking the ingame settings. I'm still not sure how all the events and menus work. When I'm on track and driving, it is a good time. This is leaning more towards sim. Throttle control and brake pressure matter. Weight transfer feels good as well. Graphics are ok, it's an indie team using Unity. It is very well optimized and I get some solid frame rates. Loading into a stage is longer than expected, but not terrible. The tire sliding on dirt sound is annoying and repetitive. PLEASE change this! There is some kind of online lobby system that I have yet to figure out how to use. The menus are not intuitive at all. There have been consistent updates to the game already. It is nice to see the devs are committed to continuing to improve the game. The core driving simulation here is solid, that's the most important thing. Hopefully they can smooth out the rest and make this a must play rally sim.

A hidden gem though with needed development, After driving the Prologues for both the Baja and Arabian Adventure i can say this game is a neat surprise though with some issues needing to be resolved. Baja is great. Its like rallying you would find in the WRC and i would say is the more refined of the two. The Dakar style arabian adventure is a bit more rough, Its fun to navigate but i feel like the springs break a bit too easily even when pacing yourself. Some other issues need fixing - The games UI could use a refresh, There is no clear Single player or multiplayer section dividing the game and the stages not being grouped into their respective rallys. - The UI editing seems to not save between sessions when opening the game again along with no way to reset the widgets if you customized them - The UI elements dont seem to have a standard size between vehicles which is a bit of an issue. - The Co pilot does not get louder when i adjust its volume. - No cockpit view, which im hoping eventually will be added. - When finishing a rally the game sometimes crashes when submitting a time Overall for an indie project this has alot of room to grow and become a really great addition to …

I was looking for a navigation challenge and this game scratched that itch. Bring more stages in the wide open desert. Having tracks is a nice aid, but relying 100% on your own navigation would be a welcomed challenge.

Keeping your expectations in check, it's an indie game and in early access, of sorts, so needs quite a bit of work on the more rally type stages. But the dunes navigational stages are SO MUCH FUN!! The game and especially the driving really comes alive on those sections. I hope the devs keep working on polishing and giving the physics more layers and "texture". The base is stronger that Dakar Desert Game ever was as far as driving was concerned. Now it needs a bit of work on the overall package to really become a serious contender. I really hope it gets there. No other game does navigation other than the aforementioned game from Saber. And that studio is no longer -probably ever- working on that title. Content is surprisingly colorful and varied. Several kinds of vehicles, More than one map, and of quite a discerning type of event for driving and having a bit of variety. So, I'd recommend this title if you like this kind of raid-rallying and want something different. It's not going to set the world on fire, as it is right now, but I do appreciate the different approach of the same same racing and rally games out there. Unlike Dakar Desert Game, you can actually e…

Great physics base first and foremost. However the UI is pretty horrendous and the audios are not great. Engines are sounding like they're pretty much at a constant RPM, feels alot like its one sound sample but slightly pitched up/down and the SFX as a whole are pretty bad but I assume [and would hope] that these are just placeholders. The game has potential to be a leading off-road title but it needs *alot* of polishing. Would I recommend this game to you? honestly for around $6 I think I would, if off-road driving is really your cup of tea, especially the dakar/rally raid events, I think you would definitely get $6 worth of fun and hopefully the game grows to become something very special, albeit probably forever niche.

The idea of this game is amazing, its the first actual dakar rally or baja like sim that isnt an arcade game and works on wheel. but the problems arent the game itself but the controls. i use a moza r9 and the ffb in this game needs to be more polished as if i let go of the wheel it spins left and right faster and faster so i can never realistically catch the wheel in a slide. thats basically my only problem other than needing better engine audio and adding ai races and more maps as it seems you cant do ai races yet? not sure how to set it up if you are but yeah i really like this game and its actually unique i cant wait to see the game progress!
