Textbook example of how to execute a great concept poorly. I hope this game gets developed further and improved, because it needs improvement. A lot of it. Let's start with graphics. I have to say, I saw better looking driving/rally games 15 years ago and I started with rally games back with CMR. Had some trouble setting up the steering wheel and there is no force feedback. Like none at all. The wheel doesn't even have any resistance, so you have little idea of what's going on with the car. But then looking at the non-existing surface and driving physics, you realize that it doesn't even matter. Driving on the grass doesn't cause the car to slide or understeer, but it causes it to steer in the complete opposite direction! Also I had this weird feeling that even with the wheel centered and the car undamaged, it kept pulling towards the left as if the suspension was broken. Gameplay is terrible too. On the first few tries to start a race, I started below the road. Couple restarts fixed it and I could finally start a race. Only to realize that this is far from actual rally raid. First, all cars start at the same time and you have only 10 opponents(imagine though a Dakar or a Bud…15 found this helpful
I remember when this was simple pc game rally 2005. Much better. Needs total miles traveled on to of screen like old version. And notes in a list not pop up But great game1 found this helpful
