Water Effect is a straightforward casual puzzle game that takes the familiar concept of sorting colored liquids and gives it an adult anime presentation. Developed and published by MANGO ANIME, the game does not attempt to turn its simple premise into something unnecessarily complicated. Instead, it focuses on short puzzle sessions where the goal is to move layers of colored water between containers until every bottle contains only one color. The rules are immediately understandable, making it approachable even for players who rarely spend time with puzzle games. The central sorting mechanic starts gently but requires increasingly careful organization as more colors and containers become involved. Since liquid can only be transferred under certain conditions, careless moves can leave useful colors buried beneath others or consume the empty space needed to complete a solution. The challenge therefore comes from thinking several transfers ahead and recognizing which colors should be consolidated first.
