Tamer: King of Dinosaurs

42 hours into the game. 30 hours of it is from playing Endless Hunt, making sure the dinos go extinct one way or another. The combat is waaaay better from when it first launched. You can now animation cancel out of most attacks by blocking or dodging. Devs have also stated that combat is something that they'll keep improving throughout the game's EA cycle. They have a discord channel where the devs are pretty active. They're open to feedback and flat out tell you if said feedback is within the game's scope. Story is pretty short for now. You get to experience the first 10 days which covers the events of the first book. The changes from book to game format makes a lot of sense to make the pacing better. For example, a certain scene that was supposed to happen at the end of the book happens a bit earlier now. That is to make way for another scene, making the storyline more cohesive for the game's purposes. The fact that there are other reviewers stating that "there's too much story" in a story game they bought just baffles me. Still in pretty rough shape but i see a very good and promising game , the voice acting on the protag is really good , despite the technical shortcomings it was very enjoyable , the story is somewhere in between but enough to make me read the books , However optimization is a must tho sometimes it seemed like it was trying to fry my pc wich is not that bad specially at the intro ( must be the vegetation imo cuz it got the worst when looking towars trees or bushes but only some of them ) .. The riding parts where super enjoyable tho , combat needs further working on but the excecute system is really nice very Turok-like would be nice that there is further incentive to use the diferent weapons other than club cuz its like super op , or actually implement the tamer mechanic into gameplay that would be so nice to have like the dino fighting at your side but prolly a far strech (would be sick tho). absolute cinema \o/ -wish the "hold to skip" text was gone from cutscenes -outfits were applicable from start menu -some mannequin inside camp to practice combat, to know what skills to upgrade -picking plants shouldn't take time -i wouldn't mind more survival aspect - ensuring camp gets enough food or "something" like morale drops, more dinos spawn, or something -building could've been more advanced. Or at least the "base" could be more filled with resources as we gather stuff (maybe it does but I didn't noticed) a lot of steam went into cutscenes, which with the quality of voice acting and animations is worthy trade

Good story for an Adult themed game. Honestly way better then i expected. Once this is content finished, it will be one of those games you just want to replay every once in a while.
