Unspoken (2024)

A really strong horror experience. The opening sequence alone was already amazing and honestly pretty creepy. The sound design is incredible and the jumpscares are also really well done. The whole game keeps you under a lot of tension and there were quite a few moments where I genuinely got scared. The story is probably my biggest problem. It's pretty confusing and I feel like it could have been structured a bit better. But as a pure horror experience, I really enjoyed it. It's short, but it's also incredibly intense and manages to create a really uncomfortable atmosphere, especially because of the claustrophobic design of the corridors. I can definitely recommend it for people who want a short, intense and very scary horror game.

[h2]Unspoken, amazing horror, mediocre story[/h2] If you're looking for horror and scares that land, this is your game. The story is nothing unique or particularly interesting, really just a simple guilt and murder plot, but my god does this game know how to keep the player on the edge of their seat. The starting sequence within the house, with a small touch of analog horror, gave me insane goosebumps and sets the atmosphere incredibly well. From there the game manages to hold onto that tension and delivers some genuinely terrifying horror. Sadly, the story doesn't reach anywhere near the same heights, but if you're here to be scared, Unspoken absolutely delivers. I can only recommend it.

What an unexpected lil gem, the first half of the game was absolutely terrifying and had such a good pacing, but the second half got boring and predictable really quick, still a solid 6/10 and I hope to see more from the dev because the first half was perfect.

HELL NAH, what was this?? the only "psycho horror" aspect this has was my neck pain bcs i had to sit so long playing this BORING ASS GAME! THE JUMPSCARES WHERE SO PREDICTABLE AND NOT SCARY, it was so comforting that is was almost scary. the moaning fingering my ear was NOT necessary. only good thing about this was Farid Bang in the Credits!
