Bad Janitor

Bad Janitor turns an ordinary maintenance job into a mischievous combination of stealth, time management, simulation, and environmental puzzle solving. Instead of being rewarded for keeping an apartment building comfortable, the player works undercover for CityGrind Corp with the considerably less respectable objective of driving tenants away. The corporation wants residential properties cleared so they can eventually be replaced with office complexes, but directly evicting everyone is apparently not part of the plan. The solution is to infiltrate a janitorial company, maintain a convincing cover, and gradually make residents miserable enough that leaving seems preferable to staying. It is a ridiculous premise, yet one that gives the game a distinctive personality compared with more conventional management simulations. The game is developed by Mjau Media and published by Fennonauts. The amusing contradiction at the center of the experience is that the player still has an actual job to perform. A fun little game with a lot of charm. The soundtrack is great, the humor made me laugh a few times, and the cute graphics give the game a nice personality. Nothing too serious, just a quirky and enjoyable game to spend some time with.

Worth the money for the soundtrack alone. The humour is somewhere between potty humour and cynical social commentary, which is kinda fun. Like South Park, BJ gives different audiences a very different experience.

Got Bad Janitor from sale. So far it seems easily worth the money. Would pay this much for the soundtrack alone TBH.

Bad Janitor is a fun little indie game with a lot of charm. The art style and soundtrack are both great, and the gameplay is simple but entertaining. It does get repetitive after a while, but I still had a good time with it and think it’s worth picking up.
