About Wiped Clean VR

✦ AI summary

You play as an undercover agent infiltrating a deadly crime syndicate by meticulously cleaning up hit scenes while uncovering a sinister conspiracy involving ritualistic murders and supernatural forces. As you progress through increasingly disturbing crime scenes, you'll gather clues and unlock better tools to expose the truth behind a decades-old secret war orchestrated by the legendary hitman Victor Kane.

Let's begin the briefing Agent, I’m only saying this once, so pay attention.

Your role? Sounds simple on paper. You show up after a hit, and you erase every trace—every drop, every fingerprint, every clue. The scene must look untouched. No evidence. No questions. No loose ends. You’ll be scrubbing down entire crime scenes. You’ll bag bodies, dispose of trash, and clean up every mess. As you progress, you'll unlock better tools and upgrade your skills—but don't get cocky. If you can’t handle the basics, none of it will save you. We’re judged on results, not effort. Here’s the part that gets sticky: You’re deep undercover. Your mission: Infiltrate the Syndicate, a brutal underground organization led by the infamous hitman Victor Kane—a man responsible for Hundreds of kills, most of which were never supposed to be possible. The Syndicate doesn’t tolerate failure. And they definitely don’t tolerate rats. Each scene is more than blood and bodies.
You'll find journals, voice recordings, broken phones, newspaper clippings, even symbols and markings. Some of it won’t make sense. Some of it will make too much sense. The syndicate’s hiding something bigger. Something old. Something that watches from the shadows. I’d tell you more, but I like you alive. This isn’t your average cleanup job.
There are whispers in the dark. Strange figures. Places that shouldn’t exist. The fear? It’s real. And if you’re hearing voices… don’t panic. You're not the only one.Every scare, every sound, every piece of evidence—it all connects. This isn’t random. There’s a truth buried in the filth, and it’s clawing its way out.Think this is just about cleaning? Think again.
You're unraveling a web of assassinations, missing agents, weird rituals, and a secret war that’s been going on for decades. And somehow… all of it leads back to Victor Kane.Once you step into the crime scenes… the real horror begins. So that’s your briefing. Welcome to the undercover world Agent.
Keep your head down, your tools ready, and your eyes open. And whatever you do…Don’t trust anyone!"

It's not Crime Scene Cleaner in VR. It's a horror game, with constant jump scare sounds, and super low poly rooms, that remind me of Doom 2 quality graphics. The controls are passable, but gathering trash is worse than doing it in real life. You need to go back to your van, and grab a trash can, and carry it from room to room. You need to squat and try multiple times to find the correct angle to grab each bullet casing, and broken bottle piece. There is no hint as to what is evidence to collect and what is not, so you spend a lot of time trying to fit things in your backpack to see what fits, and then sometimes the item will enter, and then sometimes it wont. So you missed some evidence. The sound is most annoying part. The crying, screaming, whimpering, footsteps, and wolf howls at just random times. Then contrast that with the cheezy over the top character acting like 1950s detectives. Think of entering a house in Phasmophbia, after the last team was killed, and you have to clean blood and prep it for the next group of ghost hunters, while not dying. If that appeals to you, then you might like this.

Stepping into Wiped Clean feels oddly satisfying. You play as an undercover agent whose job is to roll up your sleeves, scrub down gruesome crime scenes, bag bodies, dispose of trash, and wipe away every drop of evidence so that nothing is left behind. The VR immersion makes the grime, the blood spatters, even the lingering echoes of violence feel haunting but not overwhelming. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A2I6_iSvKQ0 As you clean you also piece together the story: journals, recordings, clues hidden around the scene that hint at a larger conspiracy led by the notorious Victor Kane. The upgrades to tools feel earned, the tension builds naturally, and there’s a real sense of creeping dread beneath the scrubbing. It’s not just about cleaning up a mess, it’s about cleaning up someone else’s mess, literally brushing away a corpse or two, and discovering what lies beneath. For anyone curious about a VR game that’s more than just jump scares or combat, this one is worth trying.

This game is very bad quality. It's pretty much the quality of game you would get out of a custom room in Horizon Worlds or Rec Room.

Wiped Clean VR, developed and published by Luminary Creations, is a narrative-driven virtual reality experience that blends crime scene cleanup simulation with psychological thriller elements. At first glance, the concept appears to follow the familiar structure of task-based cleaning games, placing players in grim, cluttered environments that require methodical scrubbing and disposal of evidence. However, beneath its procedural surface lies a darker narrative thread that transforms routine sanitation into an uneasy journey through conspiracy, secrecy, and creeping dread. You assume the role of an undercover operative posing as a professional cleaner tasked with erasing the aftermath of violent crimes. Each location is a contained story, filled with bloodstains, scattered objects, and hidden clues that hint at a larger criminal network operating behind the scenes. The gameplay loop revolves around physically interacting with the environment in VR—wiping down surfaces, collecting trash, bagging remains, and inspecting areas for overlooked traces. The tactile nature of these actions is central to immersion. Motion controls reinforce the sensation of scrubbing, reaching, and manipula…

Played for a bit and I really enjoyed it. It is a different take on the cleaning genre and includes scary elements. Intrigued by the story and great VO. Overall fun to play.
