Red Panda: The Quiet Path

Can be completed in about an hour, received as a gift because I absolutely love red pandas. Definitely something to take that time and enjoy it for what it is, a time to slow down in life. Be weary of rivers though, I managed to snag a rock then fall through the world.

I'm going to start out by saying that I really wanted to like this game. I think that the art style is very cute and was actually one of the reasons that I wanted to play. I love that it is go out your own pace for the exploration. I really enjoy games where there is no time limit and no pressure. However, I did not care much for this game and here are the reasons why: - It is very easy to fall through the world around the water. I've had times where I've been up on the shore and suddenly have been pulled in and fallen through. - When you fall through the world there is no unstuck button. You have the option to restart or exit when going to the menu. If you exit it does not respawn you in a spot before you fell, but respawns you at the beginning. - Items do not stay gathered. I had to exit the game because I fell through the map and when I opened the game again every item I picked up had respawned. This makes it really hard to know which apples and mushrooms I still need to collect for achievements. - The movements in the game are very clunky. I think this game does have a lot of potential, but it needs to be polished a little first. I played right after launch and again today, …

wow! super chill and cozy... and exactly what I needed this morning to get me through my day didn't play long but it was the impact that was important I recommend this game to anyone who needs that break... short or long beautiful game with great music, bird and forest sounds! this one will keep me coming back and has great replay value

The game looks nice, but what you do in it isn't very interesting to me. Apparently there's stamina, but the game doesn't tell you about it. On top of that controls on keyboard can't be remapped and the y-axis on controller can't be inverted. Why? Rating: ★★★☆☆
