[h1] The game looks, feels and sounds great, and works surprisingly well given it's early access. [/h1] [b] the good things: [/b] - there's a great selection of music! it's a good mix of Chinese and Japanese vocaloid music, Chinese vocal music in varied genres including pop/RnB/electro-pop, and proper heavy EDM. the game already comes with what i would say is plenty of music for the price, then surprises you with 4 free song packs available in the shop! - the game feels great. it runs really well, and inputs feel responsive. I didn't have to do any calibrating for it to be synced up properly, which is nice, and there's a decent level of customizability. - the gimmick where you switch between the rhythm following and melody following modes is really fun! it adds a nice extra mechanic to the traditional 4k format without making it unnecessarily hard, and it's led to some interesting charting decisions that i think feel really good. [b] The bad things: [/b] - it's a bit confusing on how to get those free song packs. i had to make an account with dizzylab for it to work at all, then after doing so, clicking "get" in the shop then clicking the "download" and "i already have steam"…

Loving it so far, beautiful music and fun charts. I can't wait to see what the future holds for this game, hopefully many great things. May edit the review after some extra play time to better describe my experience but I liked the game so much already I felt like I had to give it a positive review. If you like rhythm games give it a try, I had it on my wishlist for a while and I regret not getting it sooner!

i freaking love this game bro it has the elephants and chickens backflipping its so awesome uhh not alot of songs but the songs that exist are very well charted also the game is awesome

the charts r so confusing and feel different from the usual charts you see in big games, it rather feels like those key notes are not synced well but rather spammed

I still remember the day I gifted this game to all my friends. We were all making jokes about the name, Deflate, and weren't expecting much. The second we opened it, though, everything changed. We got absolutely humbled by how much skill this game takes. The vibe is amazing. The music, visuals, and overall atmosphere make every level feel intense, and finally clearing a difficult section is one of the most satisfying feelings I've had in a rhythm game. Most rhythm games are pretty forgiving and let you get away with a lot of mistakes. Deflate doesn't. It demands precision, and every mistake is on you. That might sound frustrating, but it's exactly why my friends and I love it. Every improvement feels earned. 10/10.

Chinese bangers. Also It's cool that this game is from an indie music platform. I love the song selection and I'm excited for what will come of this game. One complaint though, my entire game was bugged for a while... that is until I saw a review that I could hit refresh to default in settings and that fixed it.
