Dice Biology

Really excellent game, and not just because I got on to the high score tables. Several different ways to play, simple mechanics but lots of depth in ways to play and achieve high scores. Some very high scores already visible, hope they are all real. Something I think I'll probably come back to frequently. Would definitely recommend.

Dice Biology is an absolute hidden gem in the roguelike dice-builder genre! (Disclaimer: I received this game for free, but these opinions are 100% my own because I genuinely enjoy playing it.) If you are a fan of strategy and satisfyingly broken synergies, you need to pick this up. The core mechanic of mutating individual dice sides is addictive. Runs usually start out simple, letting you slowly stack up base stats, but it quickly spirals into crazy, large-scaling builds once you start finding the right multiplier synergies and powerful card combinations. What really stands out to me is how fast and responsive the gameplay is. There's no fluff or tedious waiting around - just clear, mechanical choices that reward smart planning. Trying to push my score to the top of the Steam leaderboards gives it massive replay-ability. Plus, the fact that you can play it entirely at your own pace with makes it the perfect game to chill with after a long day. Huge props to DarkBiology and Resensitized Games. Whether you're a hardcore deck-builder fan or just looking for an excellent indie strategy game to sink hours into, Dice Biology is absolutely worth your time. Highly recommended! A+
