✦ AI summary

Unusual Tales: Deep Below is a short horror walking simulator that players appreciate for its charming atmosphere, humor, and environmental design, though opinions on its scares are divided—some find it genuinely unsettling while others feel it leans more toward comedy than genuine horror. The main criticism is that unnecessary padding extends the roughly 50-minute runtime artificially. Players seem to view it as a worthwhile bite-sized experience worth trying, particularly if you enjoy short horror games with personality.

pretty "cute" lil horror walking simulator. i like these bite sized horror games (like the fears to fathom series etc.) "unusual tales" might be another cool up and coming series. enjoyed it (but although i beat it in 52 minutes, about 10 minutes were stretched by needless walking that felt like it was just to increase the playtime. this should be reduced in upcoming efforts. but fun

Fun short game to play on stream. Had some the occasional jumpscare that made me laugh at myself afterwards!

A brilliant mix of humor and horror! The vibes goes very quickly from 'funny haha weird npcs' to 'I'm going to die down here and no one will ever find my corpse...'. The only couple of things I would love to see in the future is better audio settings (having different sliders for music, sound effects and voice over) and some better accessibility but a very good first go. Absolutely stoked to follow this dev's journey. Also his streams are pure madness, you have been warned.

This is a pretty bad horror game. It is more funny that anything. It has maybe 1-2 parts that were slightly unsettling but other than that way better horror games to play that have a similar visual style and better horror atmosphere.
