Unlife

This was pretty bad... The art style is cool, but I don't think there are any more redeeming features.The controls are pretty terrible. I tried the controller first, but it was basically unplayable. I am not actually convinced all required functions map to buttons. M&K were playable, though some buttons would periodically stop responding and I had to reboot the game. The character handles terribly, but after a while you can kinda work out how to do it and learn to mostly just run away from enemies. Entire levels can be completed very quickly by just ignoring everything. Even basic jumping is a mess. You know the long jump where you need to time it to hit jump right at the ledge to make it? Here you'll run into jumps where you need to jump early, or the hand grip won't trigger on the other side. Took a while to work out what I'm doing wrong. Overall, while you can get pretty decent and playing this, it still feels very random and overall unplesant.The story is pretty meh. I din't complete it, but I got most of the way there before I hit a dead end I can't work out. All paths are locked and I keep getting stuck in geometry or escaping the map. Not a balanced or good game :( Indie game made by one person. Other games such as "MindSeize" and "Bright Memory" were also developed by a single person, yet they do not suck like "Unlife". It is a horribly designed mess. Feels like a 14 year old made a flash game on Newgrounds. It makes all the mistakes of game development. I have to ask, did the developer ever play any games in his life? No way he was proudly sitting there looking at the final product and saying: "I did a good job!" -.- Devs need to be forced to play their own games so they experience the suffering they inflict on their players. The controls are clunky and unplayable. Enemies camp at the top of stairs, no way out except to die. Brilliant game design.. English language translation is abominable. Even using Google Translate would give you a better result! Wtf? For a 2022 game this is an embarassment. For an indie game it lacks passion. For a game created by a single person, I literally could make a better game myself and I did, like so many others on Newgrounds and other websites back in the 2010s. Overall not a bad game, its pretty short, I beat it in 5.2 hours. The two boss were pretty tough, but once you figure out a plan of attack it becomes easy. The translations for English are pretty funny, but props to this solo dev.

a normal tunnel game, it's a little dark, of course, but it will do, even somewhat resembles the Alien game on the Dendy console.in general, you can play, but I think the price is a little too big, but I like everything fine.

The atmosphere and controls are solid and well done. The English translation, however, is just plain terrible.
