POLE is an unusual precision platformer built around the idea of making movement itself the primary challenge. Developed and published by Iuvenis Studios and Mobul Tek LLC, it draws inspiration from retro and NES-era platforming while introducing a mechanic that immediately separates it from conventional games in the genre. Rather than relying on an ordinary jump, the player carries a pole and uses it against floors, walls, and ceilings to propel the character through each environment. It is an intentionally demanding concept where learning how to move is just as important as learning the individual levels. The pole mechanic sounds straightforward but takes practice to use effectively. Pointing it toward the floor launches the character upward, while using it against ceilings can propel the character downward. Walls become launching surfaces as well, allowing movement through areas that initially appear difficult or impossible to cross. Sprinting adds another layer because additional momentum becomes essential during more demanding sequences. The controls create a different rhythm from traditional platformers, requiring players to judge direction, distance, momentum, and available…

This game's difficulty comes not from clever level design but from horrible camera angles and important information being obscured by foreground elements and terrible lighting

For some reason the controlls settings are blocked. The idea is interesting, but the dificulty it's just unfair and overall not very fun.

The game was really fun overall, but very challenging. Wish it had an option for using the d-pad instead of the joystick for better precision(I had to use the keyboard for the last boss fight because the joystick felt too floaty).

Janky platformer with unresponsive controls.
