HYPERVIOLENT

I was on board for a System Shock-esque romp until I got to the Bio Labs and had to mix plants, where the pacing of the game came to a screeching halt. The launcher that came up at the start has also put me off any game published by Fulcrum for life.

I still try to play this because I like it basically.. but it is amazing how unstable this game is.. extreme FPS drops for no reason.. game crash randomly.. this game is not finished.. it's unpolished like the devs run out of money and had to release it too early.. can't recommend it like this.. EDIT: I managed to finish the game but it's really unpolished. The most annoying thing was the size of the inventory.. it's just too small and there is no option to expand it.. durring the game I stored too many items for no reason because I believed they gonna have a goal.. a reason to keep.. but they didn't have. Like empty potion phyials.. most of melee weapons.. and even some rifles were useless compared to pistols.. You have to handle a flashlight also as a weapon.. and that is just silly.. So the game can be finished, but still can't recommend it.. It's unpolished.. the story is complete.. but the game is unfinished.

For fans of the first 'System Shock', this the closest realistic clone what I have met so far. an interesting shackling story, a long way till the final end, so as quite a variety to expect, touches of the games 'Descent' (for the hoovering shuttle part), so as 'Half-Life - Xen' (for the acrobatic final session). You will met a mini arsenal, where you can drop some guns, ammo, health and other gadgets, like self made grenades, weapon perks, a repair kit, a crusher and a needed torch. Equip both hands with side arms, melee weapons, torch in you desired combo, along with the fancy variety of big guns. Expect lots of enemies in minor and tough strength along the way on a mining asteroid, where someone went out of control and infested the whole crew, what will remain your foes for countless kills. Collect data cards, enter codes and passwords on a realistic way, explore to grab achievements and stay alive. as safe points are rare and the pass in between is difficult. The graphics are nostalgic HW accelerated pixels, the gameplay is fluent, the actor a bit clumsy. [strike]I'm honestly having fun with this game, I can understand some of the bad review about the first part of the game being better then the rest and I kinda get it, tough the plot and exploration do remind me of System Shock and the brutality of the kills and traversal of the levels was fun. The game is pretty bugged at this point tough, I've seen the screen glitching out and I had to Alt+tab to resolve it, and corpses disapear under the map, to name a few Game crashes after the big robot fight BTW...
