Nice little game

Overall just below average, clunky and uninspiring.

Plays absolutely fantastic on Steam Deck! Although the game is a bit clunky here and there, I enjoyed it enough that I'd happily recommend it. The combat feels similar to Armored Core, yet distinct in its own way. The story has a couple of minor hiccups, but overall is well written. I'm particularly happy with the "homesteading" portion of the game, which is a wonderful change of pace from other games in the genre. On the other hand, there are also a handful of glaring holes in the homesteading system. Getting the flour mill lets you buy wheat instead of tortillas, but getting the oven does not let you make bread. Which only gets worse by the fact that you cannot buy wheat seeds. Additionally, it seems that processing chickens doesn't always give you chicken meat. My biggest complaint is that chickens are pretty severely bugged: if you sell a chicken that laid a fertilized egg before said fertilized egg hatches, it never will, and it can potentially prevent other eggs from hatching as well. The only workaround I've found is to sell all of your fertilized eggs in the incubator and *then* sell any chickens you want to get rid of.

Genuinely awesome opening and finale that made the game worth it. Story was very neat. The game has cons in farming parts and repeatable missions though especially how certain actions can't be automated and the drudgery of refilling water - electrolytes are a pain, I have actively avoided chickens and dinos to not be annoyed. The game won't be for everyone so this is a cautious rec

I loved this game even with its faults. The vibes, the music, the setting, the main character. I wanted more always. I do not like base building much and I appreciate that this was very simple...and even I wanted just a tad bit more. I think Clem deserves more, another game even. This game could be so much bigger and open, yet still keep the chill vibes. I love that its a mech game too. More mech upgrades, a longer storyline, many more interesting quests would be great. I completed the game on Gamepass and bought here to support and for another play through!
