What Steam players say
Recent verbatim reviews from Steam — separate from playze.io community reviews below.
Players appreciate the game's visual style, character design, and soundtrack, but criticize it as extremely bare-bones with significant mechanical and usability problems. Common complaints include clunky menu navigation (especially keyboard controls), lack of hip-fire for weapons, poor recoil mechanics that feel unnatural, missing graphics settings, limited gun variety, and overly simplistic upgrade systems and AI behavior. While the core concept and aesthetic have potential, players feel the game needs substantial refinement across gunplay, customization options, and overall polish to be trul
I like the concept, I like the visuals, I like the price. Unfortunately, some issues hold me back from really enjoying the game: - maneuvering through menus is difficult when my mouse pointer gets locked out of the screen and I have to then navigate the menus with the keyboard. Frustrating, but not impossible... EXCEPT that you are unable to select the EXIT button using the keyboard navigation. - The guns can't hip fire. Not the end of the world, it's just been a few years since I've played a game with that kind of restriction. - The recoil feels off. It seems like more of a diagonal slide rather than recoil, hard to explain, much easier to feel. - No graphics settings available in game menus, wasn't able to switch in or out of any fullscreen/bordered fullscreen/windowed, wasn't able to turn down shadows to improve my performance, wasn't able to make the tweaks needed to give my game a smooth experience. Mostly these are QoL options. I will need more play time to determine if they become a biggere issue after level 2.11 found this helpful
This is one of the most bare bones games ive played in a very long time. needs more options, more guns, not 1-2-3 upgrades instead it needs trade offs or mods. I should be able to hip fire my gun. The maps should be more dynamic. The AI should not just 'go to player' instead have some kind of tactic. The characters should be refactored to simply be different from each other, not better. I will say, i like the look of the game and the characters are nice. I like shiny things. The music is pretty damned good too, but i cant help but feel like its prolly AI generated given the quality of the rest of the game. No shade at any artist, sorry, but your attached to this title too. If they refactor the gunplay, the menus and well, everything... It might be a game. Im not sure what the intentions were making this title. Its fine for a hobbyist, but not a company that wants to be taken seriously9 found this helpful
