Overall, it's like Nier:Automata on budget. Story very similar, artstyle basically same (and with DLC you can even play as 2B). There more downsides tho, than in Nier: 1. 80% of game is a slasher, but you only have one sword with couple abilities on top. Kinda meh 2. 20% - platforming\exploration and platforming sucks. Clearly looks like it was rudimentary and added on top, so making whole levels about platforming is insane. Exploration is enjoyable tho, I give them that. 3. Parrying doesn't work half of the times, so does the dodge system. Even if you waste all points to level up those two and will wear gear that makes "dodging easier" - there a 50/50 chance that dodge won't work mid fight. 4. Same thing with platforming and scripted events, I think it have something to do with collisions, cause there was multiple cases where I perfectly jumped in sliding mini game or something like that and flew straight thru edge that I was supposed to grab automatically. Again, platforming clearly rudimentary and was added poorly on top. 5. Passwords. In any game with passwords that I played, you usually just need to find them. You don't need to type password yourself every damn time afterw…

I'm not sure where people get off saying this game isn't 'too hard'. It's hard as heck! Maybe its just because I actually suck at video games and I just keep playing them regardless of the skill issue gap because I want to be part of the gamer club at all costs. I think this game might be harder than Elden Ring or Sekiro with my current in game skill purchases but hopefully it gets a little more forgiving as I unlock some abilities. Overall I like it a lot and would definitely recommend this game to anyone who enjoys sci-fi or action games. The fighting is beautiful, the music is atmospheric, the visuals are incredible, its a gem! Plays absolutely perfect on my machine as well.

Overpriced 15 years old game with fancy graphics, I've seen better game and level design in Ninja Blade and the combat system breaks the moment you try to fight more than a single enemy, movesets are unnatural and full of guys with 50kgs swords or concrete pillars swinging them faster than the human eye. Every side quest is a fetch quest with a plot I could write on a napkin while drunk and rewards you with a sex worker dress, the main plot is Nier Automata from Alibaba, some OSTs are legit great, others are as good as an aneurism. Bossfights are a high point of the game, especially the first one and a lady that stole Higgs from Death Stranding's costume. I'm at the point of no return and the most fun I've had in this game so far was the end of what was supposed to be a very emotional cutscene of an NPC singing when the camera decided to zoom on a random KEBAB sign. And I'm not joking.

Good, well-polished game, but too much of it is spent in just plain deserts.

Addressing the elephant in the room. Yes, this game warrants the obvious goonerbait and hyper-sexualization of the female characters, catering to a specific audience. They need to tone it down by a lot (but the devs won't because sex sells who would've thought). Her outfits range from actually good and cute skins to just where its just revealing almost everything along with the insane jiggle physics. Aside from that, the game has good graphics, gameplay, animations, environments, music, and sound design with a variety of different enemies. It has Sekiro and Black Myth Wukong elements and you can figure out the story fairly easy and all the classic twists.
