[h1]ANOTHER MEDIOCRE GAME BUILT ON LOVECRAFT'S BONES[/h1] Folks, if you're looking for a Lovecraftian Horror CRPG - keep looking. This game is a classic example of a great concept completely ruined by poor execution. THE MAIN ISSUE - IT'S BORING AS HELL I honestly gave this game 3 or 4 chances. I somehow sank 36 hours into it, and every single time, I ended up dropping it halfway through. The turn-based combat has almost no tactical depth. It's just boring. Every fight feels like a slow, repetitive chore, and you can't really avoid them either. No talking your way out, no sneaking past enemies, no running away - just one tedious battle after another. WE'VE SEEN IT ALL BEFORE A sanity meter? Check Cosmic horrors beyond human comprehension? Check. Generic cultists, Roaring twenties gangsters, forbidden knowledge..? What we get is a pile of cliches with no original idea or engaging gameplay. It feels like the developers made a checklist of Lovecraft tropes instead of an actual game. It's a shame, really. Good CRPGs are becoming increasingly rare, and this could've been one of them.

The games atmosphere is great, but the combat is a deal breaker. Tactics are none existent and you are at the mercy of one sided RnG. Dont waste your time and money, the game is abandoned

I get what this game is going foe but there are way better ways. Like the limited amount of healing items to only be one's with negative effects and prices is poorly done too the point of artificial difficult. Also if it's not that it's the fact that the pathing is as lazy as humanly possible. More often than not i'll click on an object for my character to run into it and stop. Then as i click on it they'll just stand there. I'll then have to manually click on the other side, waiting some more for them to walk around, and finally search the object. You'd think this would be common sense; but Utilize The Hot Bar! like i see the wheel for the quick select and spells. I just wish it was more apparent or i was better told so i didn't spend many fights wasting finite items mid battles when i could use them in battle.
