Blurry art style I can't figure out what things are. Constant pages of interuptions about unnecessary text that kill the opening experience. I'd imagine if you can stomach the awful beginning you can find something to enjoy here. The writing is also a bit off, it's obviously written with recent language trying to sound like it's not. A bit offputting.1 found this helpful
pretty damn good cRPG with a genuine Lovecraftian feel to it. 9/10
The biggest turn off for a lot of people is going to be the art style and Lovecraftian theme, if you're fine with those you'll probably enjoy the game. It does a lot to capture the feeling of classic CRPGs with some modern streamlining to smooth the rough edges. The combat is satisfying, if a bit basic. The story is compelling, if a bit predictable. And shout out to the extremely customizable difficulty settings.
Neat, quick and simple to grasp. Combat is a bit repetitive but is sufficient. Great buildup on the horror and the Lovecraftian influences.

grim dark is realistic fantasy, so far there isn't any Disneyesc crap here. Bad things are happening and people are struggling, there is real evil. I like the writing and game play. The progression feels right. Game is not too hard or too easy on normal but everything is customizable. I don't like the art style, it's a little too retro, I'd like it prettier, but if you can get over the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ graphics this game is a gem and steal for the price.
