Goblins Can Conquer

I really enjoyed this game. There's a bit of a learning curve, but I found it to be extremely satisfying. I only wish there was more. I eagerly await more content - or perhaps this creator's next game.

I've beaten the game up through the tenth stage (RAID). Buildings matter, as do upgrades. Dying is fine, as rewards translate into strength. I did need to replay easier stages a few times towards the early game to get the snowball going. This could have been because I didn't know which war camp upgrades would provide the biggest early game head start. The early game matters a lot. I only had one game where I went down to three goblins and managed to still win, and it was towards the end of the game. Finishing all upgrades in the war camp unlocks four new towers that move that early game right along and essentially give you the win regardless of playstyle. Cons: The game only has ten stages, with no 'endless' mode. There is no story mode except the 'idea' that goblins can conquer. For some that may be enough. It is not obvious how to play as a "mage" or "melee" focus if you were so inclined. Spells are not balanced, and the Wizard Hut messes up spell rotation. Spells cannot be sold off or moved Lower level buildings (skirmish pit, magic library) don't seem to have a use case due to cost. Although fairly basic, its good for a short time. I used it as a side screen game while I was working on other things. Basically an autobattler where your inputs are choosing buildings on map nodes you've conquered. A bit of meta progression from won battles that you can use in the "warcamp" to improve your runs. Overall not a very active or highly strategic game but fun for a quick playthrough

Not too many hours invested in this game but it was fun to play.

Cute little game

this game sucks after Stage 1 is beat the game becomes a super grindy unbalanced mess with enemy HP and Damage and for some stupid reason they reset the Skill Tree every time so it makes the game even harder to beat and becomes unplayable due to how much damage the enemies do even replaying stage 1 the enemies are super overpowered compared to the player. as for the parma buff buildings you get they cost far to much to build so you don't really get that powerful very quickly compared to the enemies on the map.
